Super great time! 3 days almost felt like a week with how many activities there were to do! I would highly recommend booking here, it was awesome! Joshua and Kimberly were very kind and responsive about any questions that arose before and during our stay. We definitely will be booking again in the future!

Was a great place to stay for a few days on the lake. The house was very well equipped with just about everything you need. Host was very helpful and accommodating to any questions or concerns. Would definitely rebook again in the future.

The view was great. The place was clean. The coffee bar was stocked. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner was a bonus. We had a slight issue with check in and Robert sent someone over right away and we were in within minutes. Would go back.

This lovely home was exactly as pictured and described. The home was full of amenities- you could show up with just your toothbrush and have a wonderful lake weekend. Comfortable beds and serene surroundings. My kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off of the dock. We went in December, so no swimming for us.

There were nine of us and overall, the house worked great for our two families. It was comfortable and roomy. The kitchen worked well for preparing a large Thanksgiving meal! Thanks for a memorable family Thanksgiving gathering!

Beautiful home! We had a great time paddleboating, bird watching, fishing, and enjoying the scenery. The space was very cozy and clean, and had lots of games for entertainment in case you're stuck indoors from the rain. Our dad especially enjoyed the king suite with the balcony view. Well worth the money! :)

My wife and kids loved our stay there. Our only regret is not staying longer. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that it offered. They had everything we needed to make the stay more comfortable. We can definitely say you must see this place.

Our week-long stay at Franklin's home was truly amazing. The house is incredibly beautiful, clearly built with love and attention to every detail, which you notice from the moment you arrive. Every part of the house felt cozy and private. The upper terrace was perfect for bird watching, dining, and reading. The Jacuzzi was extremely comfortable and a great way to spend time with the kids. The fire pit was splendid, and there were so many places for barbecuing. The dock had everything we needed for fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the water. The surrounding nature was stunning, with beautiful sunsets every evening and a variety of bird species. We even spotted a crocodile, turtles, and plenty of fish in the water. Our family was so captivated by the experience that we didn't want to leave, and my son keeps asking when we can return. Thank you, Franklin, for allowing us to stay in your incredible home!

The photos were accurate for the top half of the cottage. Lower portion had an enclosed area which is helpful for those mosquitos, but no TV for viewing which bummed the teen a bit. The hammocks were nice on the lower level. Two chairs were provided for the top deck so that was helpful in being able to take in the sunrises. Overall clean. There had been lots of winds prior to our stay so lots of dirt on the outside areas as well windows, but the inside was clean and orderly. Even had an electric tea kettle which was a plus. Bring your own kitchen towels if you do any cooking/baking. Otherwise quite comfy and would stay again.

My husband and I absolutely loved this place . It’s right by the river and we spent all weekend fishing. The host was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Rick and Burnadette were very responsive to our questions and gave us good instructions on the things we wanted to do. They were very nice and helpful. The area is nice and peaceful. Would definitely go back.

Decided to book a short little trip with my family to get out of Houston for the weekend. We had a great time and found the cabin quite relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for :) Btw, the view of the sunset from their shoreline is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend for anyone from Houston wanting to get out of town for a few days.
