Great location, easy to walk around. Stayed 6 nights and felt right at home. Amazing Private pool and shaded lounge area, had an incredible view of the sunset! May have been nice to know that the pool was missing a pane of glass, we had intending to use floaty in the pool but didn’t feel safe doing so, but with that being said it was amazing to have and great to spend time in. Communal pool was shared by 6 or 7 units, never busy and well maintained. Host was great, super responsive and VERY accommodating. Kitchen was well stocked. AC in every room, in suite laundry was a huge bonus! Walking distance to PePe food truck, had incredible tacos for a great price. If you wanted something more upscale El Agavero had great food! OG for breakfast was awesome. Found that most of the best meals we had were closer to the Airbnb and not on the main (highway 307). Super cool area in general, C.7 Sur had great shops, food and bars. Always felt Safe walking around even at night.

My husband and I and our two kids had a fabulous spring break stay at ARKAH in Akumal. It was our first time taking our kids to Mexico and this spot was perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool right outside our doors and we loved the lush vegetation and tropical surroundings. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, and provided detailed information on recommendations for dining and activities. There’s a lot to do just around Akumal - from snorkeling with sea turtles to swimming in cenotes and the ocean, to visiting a monkey sanctuary and even the Mayan ruins in Tulum nearby. Very helpful to have a car - we rented one and it was a definite must for getting around easily. Overall great trip and we will certainly stay here again!

This was ine of our best airbnb stays in 12 years of using airbnb. The house is much better than on the pictures and the host family are true hospitality people. They are lovely!! Is is located in a very quiet are of Akumal, very safe (!) and close to a few restaurants and bars. The pool is very large, the kitchen is very well equipped. The house has everything you will need and more. Snorkels are provided, a cleaner comes daily to clean, etc. The house is in amazing condition and like brand new. We loved our stay and I can recommend this place to anyone! You will love it.

This is our second time staying at this same building, because we liked the location and access to swimming pool. It is clean and the host is responsive to our requests. The area is very quite within gated community. There is an elevator to use if you don’t feel climbing the stairs. It is 8 minutes drive to the main street and about or less than 15 minutes to the supermarket. There is housekeeping that came multiple times a week and changed towels .. etc. There is plenty of parking which is great. Overall it is a very good unit.

A wonderful place! We so enjoyed the spacious apartment, excellent spacious showers, comfortable beds, lovely garden and pool. The caretaker Alejandro was so kind and helpful. He even loaned us containers to pack our lunch out when we went to Tulum! This is a perfect for families who wish to stay a while and cook their own food. Highly recommend!

I loved this apartment! The design is lovely and fitted out well. The swimming pool is literally 3m from the terrace which also has its own private jacuzzi. The roof top pool is also great. The location in La Veleta is perfect and there are some great coffee shops and restaurants in close walking distance. The host was great and replied to me pretty much immediately. Highly recommend!

El lugar es muy lindo, la terraza muy bonita para estar compartiendo, la regadera del cuarto principal les va a encantar, la camas y almohadas muy confortables, y se ubica en un lugar muy tranquilo. La ubicacion es ideal si vas a estarte moviendo entre Tulum y los diferentes parques, porque esta algo retirado. De cualquier manera si traes vehiculo cualquier distancia es nada si te la pasas bien

El departamento nos pareció muy bien. TSe encuentra en perfectas condiciones. Tiene todo lo necesario para estar ahí y podíamos caminar a todos lados. En todo momento recibimos una gran ayuda de Rebeca. La próxima vez que regresemos a Tulum, será aquí.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay here! Safe and quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful courtyard, pool and scenery. We were walking distance to lots of great restaurants/shops, and the hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. I also highly recommend booking a massage through them, they were absolutely wonderful! 10/10 experience.

Staying at Alejandro's apartment was awesome! We loved the private terrace and plunge pool. The location couldn’t be better—just a quick 12-minute bike ride to the beach, with tons of great restaurants, a convenience store, and local gourmet spots nearby. Alejandro and his team were super helpful, making everything easy. The apartment was really chill, perfect for our getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up meals. The bed was super comfy, with nice sheets for cozy nights. Plus, the shower had great pressure! The rooftop amenities—like the pool, yoga area, and spa for massages—made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing stay in Tulum! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do and making sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

2nd time staying at this apartment! Really peaceful,quiet and private. Now that the road( Calle 29)to apartment is paved makes the location even more convenient. I like that the apartment is close to the beach and downtown Tulum. 100% recommended this place.

Enjoyed our family stay. The hosts were very responsive, the property as in the photos (clean and stylish). It’s a three bedroom ground floor apartment in a condo complex that has a common pool and cafe, as well as a cenote in the gardens. The apartment also has a small private pool on its front patio, as well as a back patio with a tub. A shower is connected to the back patio but there is also a full indoor bathroom and half bathroom. The property is halfway between Tulum center and Tulum Beach, and is in a quiet area - it has a front desk and parking and felt very secure, and quiet. Would recommend for groups or families vacationing in the area.

This place is perfect! It's squeaky clean, quiet, comfortable and Maria is an excellent, super communicative host. The free breakfast and free bikes are a really nice touch.

We had a great stay at Paramar Terra. The unit worked really well for our family of 5 (3 kids aged 9 and under). The building pool was fantastic and most of the time we were the only ones using it. We also found the building to be secure and in a relatively easy area to drive. Accessing other services (grocery etc) nearby was easy. I would recommend having a car to get around and parking was a breeze. Thanks for a good stay.

Babel Tulum is a beautiful apartment complex. I opted for the loft model which is two floors. it was about $20 US extra per night which I thought was well worth it. The apartment was immaculate and looked exactly like the photos. The staff was very friendly. The location is good as long as you have a means of transportation. My only complaint is the early checkout time, 10 AM felt a little early compared to most other places and hotels. I know they offer a late checkout option, but there’s an additional charge for that. I feel that they should just try to accommodate you if they can without trying to squeeze a few extra dollars out of you. But overall, I had a good experience. I would book there again.

Absolutely 10/10! I’ve stayed in Tulum 5 times for 1-3 months at a time and these guys were AMAZING as hosts and the apartment was exactly like the photos. The WiFi was fast, very easy to find, super clean, walking distance to some restaurants, the beach is a 7 minute scooter ride away and downtown is the same. They were very accommodating and helped with any local recommendations I needed. I’ll 100% be staying with these hosts again and if you’re considering staying with them, this is the review to tell you to do so!

Xibalba hotel was truly amazing! Really good value for money. Looks just as on pictures, beautiful design, everything new and modern, very large room with balcony & jacuzzi; large kitchen with everything needed ( toaster, pots, pan, cutlery and blender for fresh smoothies), beautiful large and clean bathroom; gym and joga room. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay in Tulum.

Definitely intimate location to stay in, but accessible to restaurants and other nearby attractions. Pool was nice, wish I was there longer to be in the pool longer.

This was a really nice place to meet with our adult children and their kids. The pool was a big hit (so was the small but well equipped gym for the adults). It is well away from the noise of downtown and the beach zone....so renting a car is highly suggested.
