Ik bied een onconventionele rondleiding aan die mijn gasten naar de onbekende hoogtepunten van Turijn brengt. In plaats van de klassieke toeristenroutes te bewandelen die mensen makkelijk zelf kunnen ontdekken, neem ik mijn gasten mee naar een lokaal marktje waarna we echt Italiaans ontbijten in een hele speciale koffiezaak. Onderweg wijs ik mijn gasten op allerlei verborgen schatten en hoekjes die op onze weg liggen en maak ik hen attent op coole, kleine winkeltjes. Ondertussen vertel ik hen over legendes, bijgeloof en typisch Italiaanse gebruiken. Gasten ontvangen een exemplaar van mijn eigen persoonlijke lijst Verborgen Pareltjes van Turijn. De lijst is een handig geheugensteuntje voor mensen die zelf nog eens terug willen naar de plaatsen die ze het leukst vonden of die ze nog wat meer willen uitdiepen. Het is een lijst met uitleg over 30 unieke plekken die gaan van mijn favoriete restaurantjes, winkeltjes of gewoon plekjes om rond te hangen. De wandeling is minder geschikt voor wie op zoek is naar diepgaande historische informatie over Turijn en haar meest beroemde attracties. You will have one of a kind, truly authentic experience packed with fun and action! In the heart of the nature, you will be tuning into your senses to discover and connect with nature. You will join me and my trained dog Gemma, and my highly experienced truffle hunter fellow Santo, and his trained dog Vasco to get an introduction to the magical and mysterious world of truffles. You will be exploring the art of finding these gastronomic treasures! - 8.00 am we will meet in Turin and we will take you to our secret places - out of the city in the forest. - we will give you an introduction to truffles, where they grow, qualities and rules about searching them. - we will be walking and searching for truffles, (white or black depending on the season) in the forest with the help of our beloved, talented dogs Gemma and Vasco. You will actively take part in the truffle hunt, learn how to recognise truffles and how to dig them up - we will have a lunch in a typical Italian trattoria. Travelling takes 40 min to and 40 min back Duration of the experience: approximately 2 to 3 hours for searching truffles . September 21th -30th January white truffle During the other months of the year we can find other types of truffles; despite all may and september first to september 21st where it is forbidden to collect truffles.
