LaTara and Kelvin have created a lovely home and they share it openly and beautifully. We were very comfortable in every way. They were generous with their time and their home. It was a quiet and welcome respite from the hectic atmosphere at UA. Highly recommended.

We found this place on short notice. Same day rental. It was very clean. We will definitely be back again. We enjoyed the seclusion, the privacy, and quiet. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, and feeding the ducks. The relaxing view of the front porch and the scenery was beautiful. Mark was a great host! We highly recommend this place!

Anna was a fantastic hostess. Her home was beautiful and clean and the amenities were fantastic. It was an easy commute to the University of Alabama. We had a wonderful time.

We felt right at home. It was extremely clean (ran into the owner of Maid OCD LLC and would so hire her if she was in my home town). Loved the back patio with TV absolutely great! Very spacious and well lit. There wasn't a garage door opener and the garage door wouldn't stay closed unless we held the button. Lastly, there is a life sized zebra in the kitchen. It is startling! So be mindful it's there. We will certainly rent this home again. Please remove the zebra though. Great host and will always seek to rent from this host. Very easy and simple stay each time. Great place to stay. Very easy check in and the house was accommodating for our purposes. Very close proximity to Birmingham where we were spending the day on our trip.

This home was a short 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa at a great value which worked out well for us. The property was clean and the owner was very responsive when any questions were asked. The property is a little off the interstate but was in an area with lots of other homes and we felt very safe.

Everyone should find their getaway at The Tree House, absolutely poetic magic.

Great place out of the way, but walking distance to lots of restaurants. Lots of homeless, though that's not Renny's fault.

As a woman traveling solo, this place made me feel very safe and comfortable! The area was very peaceful, and no one can enter the building without a key fob. The building is also located two streets down from the market at pepper place which i loved! The microfiber cloths in the bathroom changed my life!! I ordered some as soon as I left. Overall, the space is small, but perfect for one to two people. The huge sliding door and furniture placement perfectly opens the space up so it doesn’t feel claustrophobic. I felt right at home, and for the price??? Recommending to anyone I know.

This house is a historic mansion and each room is curated with incredible colors and details. It was a one-of-a-kind experience staying here. Access to the kitchen and tease and hot water throughout the day in the beautiful lobby living room sitting area which we used quite a lot. There is quite a wealth of information about the history of the house all around. It was disappointing, not to see more of an acknowledgment of the contribution of African-American people to the history of the house.

Steve was very helpful and friendly. The house is larger than pictures show and there are all types of amenities that come with the house. We had a great stay. Dogs do live on site, so if you are sensitive to dogs it’s something to be aware of. We were 12-15 minutes from about anything you want to do in Tuscaloosa.

We had an amazing time at the B&B. Everything was just as described and very clean. The bed provided us with the best nights sleep, and we had an amazing time at the family style breakfast in the morning. We had to leave early on our second day and Kim provided us with a to go bag so we didn’t miss breakfast. For our first Iron Bowl trip, we couldn’t have asked for anything else.

This is mansion is an historical gem in downtown Birmingham. Loaded with beautiful period antiques, it represents antebellem Southern living at the turn of the last century. A truely unique experience enhanced by Sheila's hospitality makes this mansion worth a visit.

Very clean place, has everything you need, nice view out the back, and thoughtful touches throughout. I appreciate the games indoor and out for all ages to play, that was a nice surprise. I would like to go back in the fall when we can spend more time outdoors and see the colorful foliage surrounding the area.

What an amazing value! Incredible breakfast, conversation, and location! You really can’t bet this place. It’s beautiful, quiet, and in the most walkable neighborhood in Birmingham. Sheila is a lovely hostess and shows great care for every guest.
