we didn't realize the place would be actually inside the Bakara aquarium which was amazing! if you want some alone time with the turtles before there's a lot of tourists, as well as the zoo animals, it's the perfect place. waking up was magical and the staff were amazingly nice. it's also a 3 min walk to the beach and there's a restaurant where you can get breakfast or other foods

The hotels location is wonderful, there are many palm trees and the beach is simply splendid. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, if there is anything that you would like, ask and they will try their best to meet your demands. The internet is only accessible from the bar, but I personally spend my time swimming in the lovely sea and making the most of Zanzibar. I recommend that you participate in the tours to various islands and towns. I am definitely planning to return to Coral Reef hotel in the future.

This place is magical! Amazing view, peaceful spirit, if you are looking for tranquility and authenticity far from tourist, this is for you ! Ask Nas if you wanna see a beautiful full moon. He is a very nice and helpful. I recommend 💯. See you soon

This is a lovely and peaceful place on the beautiful beach of Matemwe. Jamal and the staff were all very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel has a generator which is indispensable because there are daily power outages in Zanzibar. The A/C in the room was great also. The only difficulty I had was with the WiFi which worked only at the restaurant. I would love to return again!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Tamani Villas war sehr schön und privat. Wir wurden von Rashid herzlich willkommen geheißen. Das Buchen von Ausflügen über Tamani Villas ist kein Problem und würde von Rashid für uns super organisiert. Möchte man mal einen Tag entspannen ist der Strand am Hotel angrenzend. Strandliegen stehen zur Verfügung. Darüber hinaus unterstützt das Hotel eine ortsansässige Privatschule die auch besichtigt werden kann. Jährlich bekommen dort einige Schüler die Chance "gratis" unterrichtet zu werden. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll gepflegt und auf jeden Fall einen Besucht wert. Im Allgemeinen sehr zu empfehlen :)!

Mein Freund und ich haben viele Teile von Sansibar erkundet und in vielen unterschiedlichen Unterkünften geschlafen und diese Unterkunft war mit Abstand einer der besten! Das Zimmer war wunderschön und äußert sauber. Zudem ist das Personal, welches dort arbeitet, äußerst freundlich gewesen! Wir möchten insbesondere an Muddi und sein Team ein großes Lob aussprechen für das sehr leckere Essen und die Bemühungen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an euch!🌞 Liebe Grüße

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time at Gaia for our honeymoon. We were welcomed by her incredible staff and they even set up beautiful swan towels and roses on the bed for us. The villa was beautiful and very private. And I can’t stress enough how amazing all of the staff were. Breakfast was delicious as well and the host was so responsive to us with recommendations. We stayed at a much larger (and more expensive) resort in Zanzibar before this and we thought Gaia was so much more enjoyable. Very close to the beach as well. Highly recommend!

The room we had was quite warm as the ventilation was not good. When we inquired from the staff if a better ventilated room might be available they told us we needed to contact Elena. They could make no changes without her approval. I knew Elena was out of the country due to a family situation. I messaged her but did not expect a response and accepted the situation without complaint. We did not ask for air conditioning, simply inquired if a different room might be available. So keep this in mind that you may find the temperature uncomfortable.

Amazing place! The hosts Bea and Mar warmly welcomed us into their little paradise. The accommodation is cozy, very clean and is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. From here, various dream beaches are easily accessible on foot or by boda-boda. We had a good time and would definitely come if we are one day again in Nungwi, Zanzibar.
