Woodpecker Cottage

A cyclists dream, with a 5 minute ride to the Castleman trailway, you'll be well on your way to ride the old railway track to Moors Valley, Upton country park and more. You are approx a 25 minute drive to Bournemouth beach, approx 30 minutes to Sandbanks beach, well worth a visit to see millionaires row. The new forest is 15 minutes away. Paultons park if you have little ones, is approx 40 minutes away and is a real favourite with the children. Woodpecker Cottage is a centrally located cottage.

With spectacular far reaching views Stride’s Barn is situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton . An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . The Barn is a converted property located at the head of the stunning Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. This idyllic country cottage is surrounded by peaceful woodland and fields. Once an 18th-century barn, it has been lovingly restored and what a welcoming place it is. Inside, you'll find a traditional open fireplace, wooden beams and lots of exposed brick. The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to hunker down on cooler evenings, there's ample sofa space for six and a TV to watch films. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and downstairs there is a 3rd bedroom and bathroom.
