Gastenverblijven in Uppsala

This place is superb. Our August week was our second stay and, if anything, it was even better than 5 years ago. The overall feel is as stunning and peaceful as ever with magnificent views from the deck across the water with the light constantly changing in the narrow sea-channel. In a heatwave, the new awning was a great addition. As a party of 8 adults, with four of us in our 50s and 60s and four aged 16 – 21, the accommodation across both houses was spacious and comfortable. There is a great deal to do if you’re active. The property’s swimming jetty, two kayaks, 4-seater canoe and sizeable rowing boat were in constant use – plus our own paddleboard which travelled as luggage without extra cost. We also enjoyed the table tennis table, outdoor weights bench and the sauna as well as hiring a tennis court in town. As before, Ylva is a great host and communicator. Our thanks to her for very kindly leaving us a supply of drinks with fresh flowers and herbs to cut from the garden. 5 years ago we enjoyed visiting Gamla Uppsala. This time we drove into Stockholm (parking on the outskirts at Morby Centrum and catching the underground into the city) and went to the Vasa museum. Closer to home, we loved the tiny beach and nature reserve at Kvarnsand 6km from the house which was a good bike ride/run with a swim at each end. I appreciated Ulf’s generous offer to come and set the sails for me on the sailing dinghy (or is it yacht, it has a keel) even though I never quite summoned the courage to accept. Next time, I resolve my sailing will be good enough to say yes.

What a lovely staying in Lindholmen! Clemens with family was on vacation during the stay, but still reacted promtly to any questions. I could enjoy their huge garden and took hour long walks in the woods. I walked 2-3 hours every day and found new routes again and agin. Perfect time and and year for cantharellen and I found a bundle of them everyday. This really is the place if you want peace and quiet and getting back to nature. Great bed and great blinders, important with taht swedish summer sun. Do note that you need a car if you stay here, especially if you are planning to visit Stockholm, but there is plenty of room for parking. This place was the dream for me in my lonesome for 2 weeks. For a long weekend, with good weather, two people will be fine as well. More than that I would personally not do.

Das Häuschen war super süß und mit seinem eigenen Garten auch perfekt für eine eigene Gruppe. Die Ausstattung reicht auf jeden Fall für ein paar Tage. Amanda war sehr hilfreich und hat sehr schnell auf alles geantwortet.

We had a fabulous long week at Linda’s place! The home is very cute and quaint with everything you need for a cosy weekend. We loved using the bikes and exploring Vaxholm and surrounds. The neighbourhood was lovely and peaceful too, with a supermarket not too far down the road and public transport options nearby. Thanks again Linda for a seamless and enjoyable experience in the archipelago!

Petra and Niko's accommodation is absolutely stunning – it felt like being in paradise. The house is small and cozy, but perfect for two people. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The thoughtful details, like the hairdryer, kettle, coffee machine, and heated floors, didn’t go unnoticed. The modern style of the house is ideal for anyone looking for those Swedish vibes. The house is surrounded by forests, so the silence is incredibly relaxing. We highly recommend having a car to get there. My girlfriend and I fell in love with Sweden, and also with Petra and Niko's beautiful home. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and very considerate of their guests' needs. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

It is such a beautiful Airbnb, clean, comfy and extremly cozy. We loved staying there!

The host genuinely cares about their home and guests. The place is thoughtfully prepared. Not only in terms of amenities, but also in the overall atmosphere. My dog also felt relaxed. I like the sense of stillness and rest. I appreciate it and I’d gladly stay here again.

Bivanje v Fridrikovi namestitvi je bilo zelo prijetno, domače, hiška je pravljična. Lokacija je na podeželju in v bližini naravnega rezervata. Fridrik je zelo fleksibilen gostitelj, saj nam je v svojem domu spekel torto za sinov rojstni dan. Priporočam toplo.

Min andra gång i detta kanonboende, finns inget att klaga på. Fint, fräscht och alla bekvämligheter man kan begära. Tack tills nästa gång 👍

En fantastisk vistelse på alla sätt! Det lilla huset var en dröm - ljust och luftigt med högt i tak, stora fönster som släppte in massor av dagsljus, och fult utrustat med allt man kan behöva. Läget i det lugna och fridfulla villaområdet gjorde det ännu bättre, en perfekt plats för avkoppling. Som en extra guldkant på vistelsen fick jag njuta av nybakade kanelbullar och kaffe i solen sista dagen, en gest som verkligen visar vilken gästfrihet värdparet har. Jag kan varmt rekommendera både boendet och dessa fantastiska värdar.

Tolle Unterkunft mit schöner Lage auf einer kleinen ruhigen Insel, eine halbe Stunde von Stockholm entfernt. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht.

Great little place close to Bro and Bålsta. Very cozy, with candles and blankets, nicely decorated with a smartTV for Netflix etc. It’s a garage conversion on the host’s property, but totally separate and private with a small outdoor space as well. Immaculate and modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Parking immediately outside and you would need your own vehicle. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we’re next in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastiskt vacker utsikt från fönstren, väldigt mysigt och rent hus. Det är väldigt tyst runt omkring. En plats för den som vill ha tystnad bredvid naturens skönhet och vara helt avkopplad från jäkt. Samtidigt finns alla moderna bekvämligheter i huset och några minuter med bil till Enköping med kaféer och restauranger. Joakim är väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam person. Toppen.

Lotten är en varm och välkomnande värd! Hon tog emot oss personligen och hade bakat en välkomstkaka åt oss när vi skulle spendera nyår i hennes stuga. Vi fick låta hundarna busa fritt i Lottens trädgård. Boendet är supermysigt, perfekt när vi ville komma bort från storstan för att hundarna skulle slippa nyårsfyrverkerierna. Kommer gärna tillbaka fler gånger!

Jag har bara positivt att säga om detta boende och värden. Fint, välutrustat, modernt och mycket rent och fräscht. Värden är trevlig, vänlig, omtänksam och lätt att få kontakt med. Rekommenderas.

Très bon logement situé tout près du centre ville. Petit appartement attenant à la maison principale mais avec assez d’intimité. Seul bémol, pas de volets, donc je déconseille si vous êtes dérangé par la lumière du jour. Bonne communication avec l’hôte, je recommande

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und herumgeführt. Lasse war stets für Fragen offen und flexibel was Ankunft und Abreise anging. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und auch hier gab es sehr gute Tipps! Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank nochmal!
