Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

The tiny home is located in the scenic neighborhood of Haw Creek, tucked away in nature but only a 5-minute drive to downtown. The house is walking distance to Penny Cup Coffee and Creekside Taphouse, two local favorites. Large trees and wildlife abound in the backyard and can be viewed through the bedroom windows or from the brand new back porch. Inside, the tiny home has a modern yet rustic feel. You will find everything you need, and your host lives on the property and is just a text away.

Looking for a quiet, private mountain getaway? This is the place! Your private deck has a view of Scaly Mountain. You will be comfortable in a large suite complete with refrigerator, microwave, coffee, snacks and Continental breakfast. We are located 20 minutes from Clemson, 15 minutes to Anderson, and 40 minutes to Greenville, so there is plenty in the area to keep you busy. Located on a dead end street, the neighborhood is very quiet. Our home also has fast wifi and 2 smart TV’s to access any streaming service. We also provide cable. With plenty of parking space in the driveway for vehicles and a boat we can provide a peaceful getaway.
