Wir verbrachten 4 absolut erholsame Tage zu zweit. Die ruhige Lage, die tolle Aussicht und die wilden Tiere, die wir beobachtet haben, machten unsere Ferien zu einem Traum. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr gemütlich! Die Kommunikation mit Beat war sehr unkompliziert. Benötigten wir etwas oder hatten eine Frage, kontaktierten wir ihn und erhielten innert kürzester Zeit eine Antwort. Während unserem Aufenthalt hat die Familie uns zwei Mal besucht und hat uns nach unserem Wohlbefinden gefragt und wir haben bisschen gequatscht. Auch Beats Vater hat uns besucht und viele spannende Dinge über die Natur und die Umgebung erzählt. Absolute 10/10!

Charming Apartment in the Heart of the Swiss Alps

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung! Die Lage ist hervorragend — direkt neben der Talstation der Sesselbahn, was den Einstieg ins Skivergnügen unglaublich bequem macht. Auch der Bahnhof ist in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Von dort aus haben wir einen schönen Ausflug mit dem Zug nach Andermatt unternommen und sind am Gemsstock Ski gefahren. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die nahe gelegene Skischule (rote Abzeichen), zu der wir unseren jüngsten Sohn gebracht haben — ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, was den Ablauf sehr erleichtert hat. Die Wohnung selbst ist vollständig, bestens ausgestattet und die Beleuchtung ist sehr modern und schön . Es fehlt an nichts — alles, was man braucht, ist in der Wohnung vorhanden. Zudem war die Wohnung bei unserer Ankunft makellos sauber, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Ein besonderes Lob geht an die Gastgeber Ana&Thomas. Sie waren stets hilfsbereit und äusserst freundlich. Vorbildlicher Vermieter, die man sich wünscht!

Wonderful stay, such a great apartment. Even better than expected. There are two very comfortable twin Murphy beds in a part of the living area which are private from the bedroom and kitchen. Very large and spacious, everything is new and clean. The kitchen has all appliances, pots and pans, and everything needed for great cooking. Martin was a fabulous host, he helped us and answered all our questions. We will be back!

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, äusserst geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gut durchdacht, den Platz super ausgenutzt, kinderfreundlich. Wir waren vor 4 Jahren schon einmal da, damals hat sie uns schon gut gefallen, jetzt, nach der Renovierung ist sie noch ein Level besser. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, Delia zeigte sich äusserst flexibel und hat sich jeweils schnell auf Anfragen gemeldet. Wir kommen wieder, es war „Pura Vida“. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

The Airbnb was everything I could have wished for — it truly felt like home, complete with all the amenities I needed. The place was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable with incredible views. Ann was a fantastic host, always responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions. I would absolutely stay here again if I get the chance, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Switzerland!

Die Unterkunft hat uns (9 Erwachsene, ein Kleinkind und ein Baby) sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten genügend Platz und die Küche bot eine super gute Ausstattung zum gemeinsamen Kochen. Es gab ausreichend Parkplätze und alles war leicht zu finden. Den Austausch mit Pascal funktionierte einwandfrei und es wurde auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Einzig der Preis; es ist doch nicht ganz günstig auch wenn sich der Aufenthalt gelohnt hat, so braucht es doch mind. 8 Personen, die finanziell mitwirken.

Engelberg, Renovated Chalet in Wonderful Location

Where do I begin? Alena (host) was amazing from the second I booked this chalet all the way through checkout, and our trip home. I have stayed in many Air BnB's, and Alena was the best host I could ask for. Before we even checked in Alena had given me recommendations of things to do, places to eat, and had covered any detail I could have needed. During our stay she checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves (even though she was on vacation herself!!!) The chalet is even more beautiful in person, the chalet is surrounded by the Swiss Alps, and the scenery is like nothing I have seen before. Inside the chalet was almost as beautiful as the Alps outside, (no offense Alena ;) The woodwork inside the chalet is stunning along with the other beautiful decor. My family and I began our trip in Paris, and finished at this chalet. It was a long exhausting trip, and seeing the Alps had been on my bucket list for 40 years. This stay was a true dream come true. We had a magical week at Thomas’s place. The place was perfect in every way with the most beautiful views of the valley, wonderfully cozy and well appointed space. The sauna was definitely a perk! Thomas was an amazing host, went above and beyond, giving us the friendliest welcome and great recommendations. One of the best hosts we’ve encountered during our years with Airbnb! And Engelberg is a wonderful place, especially for families. The whole town is very child friendly in terms of the restaurants, playgrounds, and accessibility. We spent the whole time at Brunni which was perfect for our toddler in terms of bunny slopes and playgrounds (and a few blue and red runs for us). We took the bus a block from the apartment to the train station, then a quick transfer to a second bus, on the slopes in less than 15 minutes! Brunni has lockers so we stored all our equipment overnight. Hope we can make it back to Engelberg next season and stay at Thomas’s place!

Die Unterkunft war genau wie im Inserat beschrieben. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Der Balkon mit Blick auf den See war perfekt zum morgendlichen Frühstück oder um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. In der Umgebung lässt es sich gut wandern, mit Ausblick auf atemberaubenden Berg- und Seelandschaften. Ein Laden und weitere Freizeitmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig gut und schnell zu erreichen.

The apartment is clean and beautiful as well as located in a very posh setting close to the gondola. It’s a close walk to the town as well if you go through the train station. There was a lot of construction in the area which was annoying for the drive in but means there will be even more to enjoy in the near future. We enjoyed our stay with 4 people and were very comfortable. We were surprised that amenities were limited in the kitchen and bathroom. You should bring all that you need for apartment living (dish soap, laundry detergent, lotion etc.).

Wir haben als Familie das Osterwochenende in Biel bei Bürglen verbracht und es war super. Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Lage und ist top ausgestattet. Auch die Kommunikation mit Ivan hat super funktioniert und er hat uns sogar geholfen das Gepäck mit der Transportseilbahn zu transportieren. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Wir (3 Freundinnen) hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Neben dem konzentrieren Arbeiten (dank W-Lan) konnte man sich den Kopf bei der schönen Aussicht und kleinen Wanderungen lüften. Das Kochen und Heizen mit Holz war heimelig. Wir haben es genossen.

Rustico Pian Segno - Lucomagno

Un paradis! Le rustico de Renata se situe sur une plaine verte qui ressemble à une carte au trésor dessinée par un enfant, avec la rivière, les gros rochers, la fromagerie, les sapins isolés, les vaches et les cochons. L'intérieur est parfaitement tenu, coloré, aménagé sur trois étages, il y fait toujours frais (nous sommes venus en période de canicule, coup de chance!), la terrasse ouvre sur l'est et les forêts, il y a plein de matériel de jardin dans la remise et des jouets pour les enfants. Et quel calme! Renata avait installé un lit de bébé et une chaises haute de sa propre initiative, et a répondu à toutes nos demandes très rapidement. Comme nous sommes venus en bus (seulement 4 par jour en été sur la route du col, arrêt à 15 minutes à pied), elle a proposé d'évacuer elles-même nos déchets. Le sentier du Lucomagno passe par la plaine et monte en 10 minutes au centre Pro Natura (petit restau et camping sympa!), et en 45 minutes à Alpe Casaccia, l'endroit où la rivière est la plus belle. A noter que la maison dans laquelle se situe le logement comporte aussi 2 autres appartements (non loués), nous avons donc eu des voisins pendant les week ends, mais ça n'était pas du tout dérangeant.

This is a nice house just outside of downtown Engelberg. There is parking for 1 car in the small driveway, or two if you have a smaller vehicle that fits in the garage. You can walk a fairly short distance into town, but be ready for the long hill climb in the way home. The house had everything that we needed for a long weekend stay. The beds are comfortable. It’s a great value. I would definitely stay here again!

Exceeded expectations! Fantastic location with amazing views. Wonderful access to hiking and activities. So much to do within 10 minutes drive. Complete privacy. Comfortable home with washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, balcony, and nice shower. View of the surrounding valley, including the waterfall. Amazing host - provided fantastic ideas for hiking, bakeries, and other activities. Wish we had more than five days and hope to return. Worked very well with 4 people for a larger family. The deck and outdoor space was fantastic. An amazing part of the country made even better by a wonderful place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Emmetten, Switzerland! The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, and located in a stunning area with incredible views. The owner was exceptionally helpful and responsive, providing us with detailed recommendations for things to do and places to explore. One note is the house has a 100L daily limit on hot water, which resets overnight. For our group of six, we managed just fine by limiting our shower times and getting shower early in morning while the water heater was still on. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re staying with more than four people. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience! The combination of the gorgeous home, perfect location, and excellent host made our trip unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Oh, the location! It overlooks lake Lucerne and is so so beautiful. Great area behind the house for barbecue or just a night under the sky. Nice additions to the house to make it more welcoming. They had a lot of board games, which was very thoughtful but we couldn't use them as they were in German. The host met us at check in and even gave a lot of local recommendations. Great place to stay for families.

Had a fabulous stay in Hardy's immaculate apartment. Perfectly located in Andermatt close to the railway station, ski lifts and the centre of town. Unser Aufenthalt bei Nora war ausgeteichnet. Die Wohnung hält was sie auf den Bildern verspricht. Nora ist äusserst freundlich und hat uns vorab mit allen nötigen Informationen zur Wohnung und deren Benutzung ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe dekoriert, sodass man sich sofort wohl gefühlt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super eingerichtete grosse Wohnung. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Michael hat immer sehr schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Wenn man ein Auto hat, sind die Skigebiete Disentis und Sedrun gut zu erreichen.

We had a great stay at Rudolf's place. The view was amazing, and the house was very well equipped. We especially enjoyed using the grill and the chimney—it added a lot to our experience. Although there is a bit of a walk from the parking area to the house, it’s not too challenging and definitely shouldn't be a reason to miss out on this beautiful spot. Rudolf was a fantastic host—very communicative, full of great suggestions, and always supportive. Highly recommended!
