I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Todo estaba super bien, muy bonito, la casa preciosa, muy limpia y ordenada, realmente cómodo. Por lo demás una experiencia formidable.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

Amazing location, super helpful on site host who responded immediately and helped us with some tricky logistical issues. We didn’t have a car and getting there was a bit tricky. Also the stairs to the bedroom are steep. Someone who is less sure of their balance may be challenged. Overall this place provides everything we needed and couldn’t have been more conveniently located if beach time in one of the most beautiful places in the world is your priority.

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

Excelente alojamiento en zona local, el mejor en que hemos estado durante nuestro viaje a CR. Como arquitectos hemos valorado mucho los detalles presentes en toda la estancia y sin duda repetiríamos. Muy recomendable

Nos encantó el lugar. Muy comodo para mi familia que íbamos con niños y mascota. El acceso y el Riachuelo como tal es muy lindo. Y la cocina con esa vista y al aire libre preciosa. Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

El lugar es hermoso, está lo suficientemente cerca de todo, pero a la vez es muy privado, respecto a la llegada en carro, un carro 4×2 puede subir la cuesta muy bien si es alto y no ha llovido mucho. Benjamín es muy amable y siempre estuvo muy atento a todas nuestras dudas.

I liked the location here as it’s just far enough from town to have enough quiet around you to enjoy some wildlife. I saw hummingbirds, toucans, monkeys from the patio. In the morning and evening I could hear the ocean waves. It’s about a 10 minute walk to town. Lizzet was very communicative, responding quickly. There’s no screens on the windows or AC. Overall, I had a good stay here.

This stay was a fun adventure—like camping but with the comfort of a room! It would make a great camping-style getaway for a family. The location was fantastic, just about five minutes from the beach and with eateries in both directions. A couple of things to keep in mind: there’s only a fan for cooling, and the water is cold, but after a day at the beach, it’s actually quite refreshing! Overall, a unique and enjoyable experience for those looking for a simple, nature-inspired stay. Can't recommend enough.

This was my second stay at Carlos and Roxana's AIrBnB, and once again it was a very pleasant and positive experience. Carlos Sr. and Roxana are very kind people, and their son Carlos Jr. is always responsive and helpful with on-line communication and texting. Carlos Jr. came to visit his parents while I was there, he is a pleasant person with great English skills as well as great at IT. The Cabana is great because it is so light and airy inside, with high ceilings. It just has a really good design for a studio sized cabana. It feels good to be there, at the back of the garden, with all the birds singing in nearby trees and butterflies fluttering around. There were a lot of flowers blooming in the garden, many colours, looking beautiful. It is easy to walk to town from this AirBnB, it is close to stores and restaurants. Carlos and Roxana are so kind that they took me with my luggage to the bus terminal when I left. I highly recommend this AirBnB, it is affordable and really good. :)

Excelente acomodação, cercado de natureza e o Jonathan é um ótimo anfitrião.

Ambiente privado y tranquilo, con muchas comodidades en la habitacion. El ingreso de la calle publica a la casa esta en buen estado, solo que es muy empinado. quizas para vehículos con poco cilindraje sea difícil la salida. Volvería a rentar el espacio con mucha satisfacción.

Hermoso se queda corto con todo lo que se puede decir, la casa super amplia, limpia, se respira mucha paz, estar rodedo de montañas, grandes árboles, la vista indescriptible, que lleguen Pájaros que nunca había visto cerca de las ventanas, todo es Verde alrededor, tiene todo lo que se ocupa para para pasar un lindo y mágico tiempo conectado con la naturaleza. Definitivamente y espero que no pase mucho tiempo, poder volver porque nos quedaron pendientes cosas que hacer de lo mucho que hay. Katherine es súper responsable y amable, y cualquier consulta, la atendía con rapidez. Nos alegra muchísimo haber podido encontrar éste lugar. Recomendacion: quedarse varios días, vale la pena todo el tiempo que se pueda estar

Great location to the whale park and beach activities. Good recommendations for transportation if you have no car. Very walkable and convenient location.

You'd have to search a long, long time to find a more helpful, generous, and gracious hostess than Laura. She went out of her way to help us with a problem we had in getting to her place. There was a bowl of fresh fruit harvested from her property waiting for us in the kitchen, and Laura had put four fresh coconuts in the fridge, already husked and ready for us tothe cold milk. Laura also included us in a nice birthday cookout for one of the men who works there. This is a great place to rest and recuperate from traveling. The house is beautifully built and very comfortable. The king-size bed and the walk-in shower are luxurious. The washer & dryer allowed us to leave with clean clothes in our suitcases. The nights were quiet; the stars and the sound of the river were wonderful. We had a car but never left the property. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I've seen in Airbnb rentals and there was coffee & tea. We could have lived for several days on the items in the pantry.

This place was amazing. Location was 100 yards from the water with no one in front of you. It was a great way to spend our birthdays. Other than a few fishing boats launching and surf school 1/2 a mile down the beach it was pretty private. It had a real authentic local feel. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The AC works great and helps cool down on those hot days. It is a cabin on the beach, don't expect the Four Seasons. For the price and location, you will not be disappointed with your stay. Thanks again.
