Thank you for the time we spent in your beautiful home. We were a group of 9 and everyone was comfortable and home met all our needs. The surroundings were so peaceful and the game were a treat to see. We felt so blessed and privileged to spend a few nights in this amazing place. Thank you for the memories we have!

This is the best place in the Free State to relax! Everything exceeded our wildest expectations!! It is a beautiful place and spotless clean and neat!! We wanted to stay there forever!! Will definetly be back!!

The house is an absolute stunner. We even cancelled our Saturday morning plans because we just wanted to stay in and enjoy the house. Well decorated, private and peaceful. Loved our stay.

Made a last minute booking and had the best time with my friends there. Vanessa was very responsive and the house itself is very beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. There are soo many games and things to do, we spent the entire weekend there and did not get bored at all. The place is equipped with everything you can think of! Amazing views.

This is absolutely a "home away from home". From the booking to the check out - everything was perfect. Izelle is super helpful and friendly and Paul is on site and on call. Our family enjoyed the house and estate and can't wait to visit in warmer weather to make use of the beautiful swimming pool. 10 stars!!!

Tebe was a great host …to giving you the codes everyday and checking up on me . Whenever I had a problem she’d find solutions and the place is really beautiful. It’s really close to the malls ,safe as well and free .i felt at home and the place was squeaky clean and smelt nice ,l would go again there given the chance. I highly recommend the place Wifi was not a problem at all and loadshedding You do get what you paid for ♥️

The photos looked interesting and the reviews were fantastically positive - then the reality? Absolutely splendid! 10/10 - minus nothing! We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless, cozy, private, safe, and secluded, with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed (and more) was provided. Michelle was incredibly attentive, offering great advice and quick responses, and Vincent and Nadia were so kind helping us when we got stuck in the mud. Such warm, welcoming hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway - we’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Sunbird Cottage which is very homely in a stunning setting. The farm offered us plenty of opportunity to explore the Wakkerstroom area, and we even enjoyed two walks on the farm itself. The farm fresh milk, eggs and jam were a treat and absolute spoil!

The place is absolutely stunning. Tim who manages the property was extremely helpful and always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, he is truly an asset to the farm. If I could recommend slight touches - The hot tub takes forever to heat up, it would be great to get a solar blanket as well to retain the heat - A lounger patio would be a great addition to soak up the sun in the afternoons. Overall a stunning place which is nice and secluded, the roads traveling to and from Nottingham road is not the best so I would suggest getting what you need to limit driving up and down

Had a wonderfully peaceful stay. Beautiful landscape and loads to do. The cottage has everything that one needs. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Amazing location, and access to Drakensurg Sun facilities is a bonus. Plenty of activities to do - hiking, swimming, horse riding, canoeing, abseiling, all right on your doorstep

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! I had an incredible experience staying at the Bronkhors’s.The place was exactly as described (if not better) – spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy bedding to the fully stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area next to the Vaal dam. Liezel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, providing clear instructions, helpful local tips on fishing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. It truly felt like a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and private - aside from some welcome visits by the dogs and cat. There is great attention to detail and the instructions were clear. You can tell this is a tried and tested setup. The area is beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway. There is a nearby weir that you can walk to as well with a lovely picnic spot. Note that reaching the place will require a higher vehicle for very light off-roading. If there is an opportunity, I would consider staying here again.
