Huisjes in Vestland

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Vi koste oss i huset på Lyngøy og kommer gjerne tilbake. Overraskende fint inni huset, finere og koseligere enn på bildene. Nydelig utsikt og natur. Vi så ørn flere ganger og gikk en nydelig tur på øya. Koselig å fyre i peisen når det er kaldt ute. Gode faseliteter og masse sengetøy og håndkler tilgjengelig. Arne er en hyggelig og behjelpelig vert.

nous avons passé une semaine sur bergen et alentours, et deux jours dans ce logement, propre, bien agencé, classe, bien chauffé, fonctionnel. un peu loin de tout ! voiture obligatoire. jaccusi en supplément... un peu dommage, mais placé correctement sur la terrasse il est exceptionnel à utiliser.

Un environnement exceptionnel... Même par temps de pluie, rester à l'intérieur est un plaisir, grâce aux ommence baie vitrée. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, offrant un panorama a couper le souffle. Bain nordique a recommander pour les moments ensoleillés. 3 belles chambres, une salle de bain spacieuse avec un sauna privé. Le logement est à 1h de bergen par autoroute et ferry. Plein de balade a faire autour dans un environnement vraiment préservé. Nous avions choisi ce logement pour 4 nuits a la fin d'un périple en Norvège pour se reposer et visiter Bergen. Nous avions fait avant 4 jours aux Lofoten et 3 jours dans la région de Flam pour les fjord. La communication avec Jarles est très bonne par messagerie.

Thea’s place was absolutely incredible. She took the time to come outside and greet us so that we could get familiar with where everything was. The place was adorably decorated, clean, and private. The hot tub was also incredible and probably one of the most comfortable we’ve been in. If we are ever in the area again, this is the first place we’ll book.

We had a lovely stay in the cabin during February. Very cosy, warm and had all we needed. The hot tub was a great addition. Great location for skiing and winter activities near the ski senter. Stian and all other hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Tussen takk :)

Das Haus ist noch schöner und größer, als man es auf den Bildern sehen konnte. Das Boothaus am haben wir zwar nicht genutzt, bietet jedoch bei jeglichem Wetter eine gute Möglichkeit Zeit am Wasser zu verbringen. Die Hosts sind sehr nett, wir wurden direkt begrüßt und uns wurde die Unterkunft gezeigt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Utrolig fin feriebolig. Ble bestilt kvelden før siden forrige Airbnb-vert aldri svarte, og allikevel gikk alt problemfritt. Knut Ove var veldig hyggelig og hadde fyrt i peisen til vi kom og viste oss rundt i huset. Alle gjestene er veldig fornøyd. Vi kommer tilbake neste gang vi er i området!

Stupendo cottage di fronte a un fiordo meraviglioso. La casa era accogliente e fornita di tutti gli utensili necessari per cucinare. Svegliarsi la mattina di fronte a un fiordo non ha prezzo!

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold. Stedet var fredelig og privat. Osvald var veldig hyggelig og sørget for at vi hadde alt vi trengte. Det er et koselig sted. Anbefales! :)

Unser Aufenthalt bei Ingebjorg und Johannes war super. Das Haus war absolut sauber und ruhig gelegen. Ingebjorg und ihre Söhne waren immer hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt completely at ease. The hut is exactly as described, very lovingly furnished, cosy and in a great location. Peter was already very helpful in the run-up to our trip and gave us a very friendly welcome. We would love to come back.

Dette er 3 året på rad vi overnatter hos Heidi, på gjennomreise. En vennegjeng på 8 som kom denne gangen, og Heidi la til rette for det, selv om det i utgangspunktet var plass til 6. Veldig fornøyd med at alt går så greit og lett her, og kommer også tilbake neste år, på vår veg til Lærdal og fotballcup.

Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location. Good base for day trips to Alesund and Geiranger. Cabin looks out on the sea and there is a boat available. We fished and caught mackerel, cod, halibut and seabass. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful. Cabin was spotless and plenty of room for a six person family.

Our third stay in this house in Haugesund was truly memorable. The perfect blend of peace, nature, and family-friendly activities made it an ideal place for our children. They loved playing in the spacious garden, and we all enjoyed kayaking, fishing and boating in the beautiful surroundings. The location also offered the convenience of being just 15 minutes from the city, which allowed us to explore Haugesund and visit family with ease. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always available and genuinely caring, which made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth, and everything was well-prepared upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better balance between relaxation, outdoor adventure, and accessibility. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful yet active getaway.

Die Unterkunft entsprach meiner Erwartung voll und ganz. Hervorragende Lage, ruhig in hervorragender Umgebung. Einmalige Lanschaft mit besten Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Angeln und Entspannen.

Wir durften eine Woche lang Gäste in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft sein und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer einen idyllischen Ort, mit tollem blick auf das Fjord und viel Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Auch Wandermöglichkeiten zu phantastischen Aussichtspunkten mit Blick über die Fjorde und Berge sind unmittelbar in der Nähe und gut erreichbar Die Einrichtung war sehr stilvoll und passend zum Haus und wir haben absolut nichts vermisst. Die Miete des Bootes war ebenfalls total einfach und der Hausherr hat uns alles im Detail erklärt. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war jederzeit schnell und einfach möglich, kleine Fragen wurden unkompliziert geklärt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, wenn es uns wieder nach Norwegen verschlägt.
