The Downing House

Built in 1922 by the son of a Civil War Veteran, this 2 bd/ 1b cottage with a large wrap around porch sits on almost 1.5 acres in the middle of the city. During the restoration we found letters and Vicksburg artifacts that are displayed throughout the home. The Cottage is located a short distance from dining, shopping, galleries and museums.
