Meat Cove Campground (Cabin #1, Bring Own Bedding)

Each camp cabin sleeps 3 people comfortably. Inside each cabin is one double/single bed (with mattress). A table and chairs and 6 foot shaded deck with table outside. The cabins have solar power. (Small lamp and a place to charge small devices. You must also bring all of your own bedding (sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, etc) and all of your own cooking supplies (pots/pans, cups, plates, silverware) These cabins do not have any plumbing or heat. Hot showers and flush toilets are below the cabin

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Moose & Merlin Glamping Cabin

A palace for seasoned campers, glamping for people who are less outdoorsy. Comfy queen bed, a mini wood stove, and a unique vibe built from scratch by a thrifty woman and her carpenter dad. There is electricity. No running water but a draining sink / water provided. No fridge but a cooler and endless ice packs available. No wifi in cabin itself but available a short walk away. There is cell service. An outhouse 25 seconds away. Full bathroom / shower available in separate cabin in main area.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this perfectly located cottage in the heart of Cape Breton. Right across the street is a beautiful beach for swimming, bonfires, sunset gazing, and long walks. There are tons of amenities close by. The town of Cheticamp, the world renowned Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park are right outside your door! The views are spectacular, both mountains and ocean. And, Cape Bretons finest bakery is walking distance too!

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.

We are only 15 minutes to North Sydney and the Newfoundland Ferry, 30 minutes to Sydney, 20 minutes to the Englishtown ferry and 30 minutes to Baddeck. This cottage is quaintly tucked in the woods but only a ten minute walk to the shore and a beautiful sandy beach. We are also a 5 minutes stroll to the Bird Island Boat Tours. Welcome to our beautiful cabin located on hwy 4 only 13 min from Sydney River, 5min from the ski hill and benion marina, 1 min from the country market where you can get anything needed including a ice cream sore in summer and small liquor store. If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.
