The place was so nice, just like the pictures and so clean and location is very convenient, near to super markets, pharmacy, metro and bus stations.. The host answers any questions very fast and is very kind. I loved this place.

Tania was very helpful in finding a unit that accommodated our family size and needs. She set up the reservation for me I just had to pay, explained what I needed to do at the main office and everything was a breeze. The area has many activities throughout the day related to the massive pool area that has separate accommodations and pools for children and adults. Was a great place to stay, my only complaint was the road work and delays going to Virginia Beach which obviously isn’t her fault. I went to multiple other hosts that had units in this area but they falsely advertised larger units then what they had available, if you want to be clear what your getting I would go with Tania.

Igor was amazing. I was very tired and exhausted after a long flight from Italy, nor did I have access to wifi at the time with my Italian phone. I was having difficulty checking in, but he stepped in very quickly and remedied the situation. Afterwards check in was a breeze. The property was beautiful. The unit was perfect and very clean. There was more than enough room for my two daughters, my granddaughter, and myself. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanksgiving was wonderful there. We regretted having to leave. I cannot say how wonderful, helpful, and professional Igor is. He responded very quickly to my emails and followed up to ensure everything was up to and above standard. This was well after the 9-5 business hours. He stayed in contact until he was assured I was completely checked into my unit. I was very impressed and relaxed knowing he was there (in email) if I needed anything. That quality of service definitely goes a long way in my book. His quick action and response was very reassuring; especially for a solo female traveler. I would definitely call Igor again when I return to the area. Highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment with thoughtful touches everywhere! Super helpful hosts. So lovely to enter and find a bottle of local wine and locally baked goodies. Comfy robes, plenty of towels. The location features an amazing view of the Blue Ridge. We loved sitting by the fish pond with some wine and enjoying the rolling hills.

We first visited Nature’s Retreat a year ago & booked again for this year as we were leaving. It is the perfect spot for a couple visiting Smith Mountain Lake. Well equipped and comfortable, private and peaceful, near the lake and surrounded by nature. Beverly is a fabulous host, responsive and helpful!

My family and I stayed at Andy’s place over the Christmas holiday. It was our first time taking a vacation for Christmas and the entire trip was phenomenal. The room was updated and looked much better than the pictures. There is a ton of things to do onsite and nearby. Rooms are assigned at check in. You really don’t have to leave the resort unless you just want to explore the surrounding area. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the surrounding area. The room was clean and very spacious for our family of 5. Andy was a fantastic host and was available as needed. We had an all-around excellent Christmas vacation for a great price!

This place did not disappoint! The unit was spotless and very comfortable. Absolutely loved the rooftop deck, which overlooked Reagan Airport. Any time we needed to contact the owner (just for a couple of things), they were very quick to respond. If we ever do another trip to DC, this is the first place I would look to book!

Location and description was as advertised. Lots to do, so much that we were there a week and didn’t do everything. Every attraction on our list was within 20 minutes. Beautiful area and very quiet.

This was our second stay with Carlos. The property is a wonderful value, great for families, and convenient to restaurants and entertainment. As a native Richmonder, we will be frequent flyers here.

I love staying at Johnathan's place, and I was so happy it was available during our trip. The apt is lovely with its huge windows and tall, tall ceilings, and the location works great for my family. There is an easy walk to good coffee, as well as tons of restaurants and the pipeline walk nearby. Johnathan is a great host. We always feel welcome to ask questions about the place or the neighborhood, but they do such a great job preparing for us we're all set.

This little place us absolutely wonderful! From the time we arrived til checkout, it was so nice. Wanda is so sweet and very welcoming. We had booked for an upper level room but we were asked if we wanted to switch to a 1st level room instead and it worked out very well. It had its own private entrance and was easy to find parking. The grounds are beautiful with all kinds of cute critters including ducks and geese. Our favorite part of the stay was the bistro and included breakfast on site. It was DELICIOUS! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone else looking for a nice and quiet place to stay while in Lynchburg. Thank you so much Miss Wanda!!!

My partner and I traveled here for our 3-year anniversary. We wanted a little getaway and this was the perfect location! It’s a minutes walk from many different things like the Edgar Allan Poe museum and tons of restaurants/cafes. The apartment is very spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. Johnathan and Jon made our experience very comfortable and were very responsive hosts. We highly recommend that if you are traveling to Richmond to consider this as a place to stay!

We were lucky to find this place available. Just amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Close to everything you could need, or stay in and make your own meal. Even a rainy day couldn’t keep us down as we relaxed on the couch and listened to the rain. Thanks again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kathryn's property for the second time. Our experience was delightful. Although it is a 35-minute drive from Virginia Tech, the journey through the countryside is quite scenic and enjoyable. We stayed at "Sunrise in Nature," which was ideal for my husband and me. The property offers numerous tranquil spots to relax and appreciate the natural surroundings, including a riverside walk and a forest trail. Additionally, we were fortunate enough to see a family of deer cross our path. I highly recommend Kathryn's place for anyone seeking a peaceful weekend retreat or a serene escape from the busyness of Virginia Tech. It truly is a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back!! Robin
