Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Has a gas ,charcoal grill,fire pit, pool table, fooseball, ping pong table. Smart TV Private UTV trails are closed Oct 15th thru mid Jan for hunting. Access to public UTV trails.

The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Five miles down a gravel road, surrounded by the hum of nature, fields of prairie, and sunshine, you’ll find Wold Farm. We've renovated one of our vintage grain bins into a light-filled cabin on the prairie. One mile from the Turkey River, enjoy fishing or floating. Shop boutiques and local art in nearby Elkader. Stop at the famous St Olaf Tavern. Or just relax and soak in the quiet. Perfect for couples, a friend retreat, or solo adventure!

Soules Barn & Bunkhouse

We're an old Iowa country farmhouse decorated in chic vintage style. Wake up to the peaceful sounds of birds and good old Iowa sunshine. Located in the heart of Iowa. This is the perfect place for a group of you and your friends to get together and enjoy a bottle of wine and share memories. We are also willing to accommodate your fur babies! (There is a one-time cleaning fee of $100 for bringing pets.). There is no washer and dryer on site. There is a laundramat 12 miles away in oelwein

Old Mission Road House - A Home Away from Home

This is a newly built house with full kitchen. All dishes, pans and linens are supplied. There are 3 queen size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms , washer and dryer. Flat screen TVs access to WIFI in the kitchen and in the loft area and also in each bedroom. Fully air conditioned. Front and back patio with chairs and table, grill and fire pit with wood supplied. Backbone State Park is three miles away. A great area for trout streams, hunting , hiking , golfing and snowmobling in the winter.

The EJ House 4 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

The Kimball House

Beautiful Victorian home in the heart of Fayette only one block from downtown & Upper Iowa University. Features an updated kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances and family room w/gas fireplace. Formal living room & dining room have original hardwood floors; upstairs has engineered hardwoods. Updated bathroom has double vanity and shower. Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Cozy Lakeview Chalet

This Cozy Country Cabin is located 2 miles outside Wadena and offers a peaceful getaway with private water access, a wrap-around deck, and outdoor fun. Inside, you’ll find a loft with a queen bed (spiral staircase access), bunk beds, a sleeper sofa, full kitchen, and walk-in shower. Enjoy the use of kayaks, canoe, and a rowboat—life jackets provided. Rural setting with self-check-in. Expect charm, nature, and a truly unplugged experience.
