Hazelnut cottage is so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful gardens. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and the place had everything we needed. Nicola and family were on hand to help if needed anything and super friendly. The pigs are a great solution for food waste too and our daughter loved watching them snaffle down the hazelnuts in the morning.

Beautiful house, was the perfect home away from home for our family. Everything was as described, clean and cozy. The surroundings were gorgeous. right on the edge of the Kaiapoi Lakes which was a lovely walk and backed onto a playground which was great for the kids.

We had a lovely night at George’s Road Winepod. We were welcomed with a tasting by the beautiful owners - and tour of the winery. The Winepod and hot tub were simply excellent. We paid extra for dinner, but breakfast was included and this was all so wonderful and tasty. Our only sadness is that we did not stay for longer. Hoping to be back again for a longer stay. We would thoroughly recommend.

Such a fun experience! We have stayed twice, once with a group or friends and once with our children and both times it was a hoot! Love being fully immersed in the 80's/retro interior design aspects and the thought taken to provide a fun getaway for all ages. The outdoor activities are designed to keep everyone occupied for hours. Great out of the box accomodation option!

We loved our stay! Watching the deer frolic from the picture windows was peaceful and beautiful. Marianne and Craig were so helpful and welcoming! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the delicious extras for breakfast and coffee made our mornings perfect.

Really lovey stay. The perfect place for the occasion and a simple check-in check-out experience. Feels like a country cottage despite being on the main stretch in Amberly. Traffic noise is almost non-existent thanks to the layout of the house and the high wooden fence. The garden is fantastic too and we all wish we’d had more time to enjoy the place. Great local recommendations for food and drink too. Have already recommended to others who may be in the area in future. Thank you!

Lovely warm home with nice private outlook. Peaceful quiet neighbourhood and loved smelling all the Christmas lilies in the garden. Donald was a fantastic host and can definitely recommend this property to others.

If you are after a quiet getaway for the weekend, the Bach and the beach is the perfect location. Very comfortable accommodation, with everything you need provided. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you Gabriella
