Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Pirongia Mountain Getaway

Apartment is adjacent to my house on Pirongia Mountain. I'm 20 min from Te Awamutu, 30 min to Hamilton , 40 min to Waitomo Caves, Lake Karapiro or Raglan, 1 hr to Hobbiton & 25 min to Mystery Creek for Field Days. Queen-size bed accommodates up to 2 people. Beautiful views across the area & close access to many local tramping options. Beautiful hideaway, amazing views over the Waikato river and farmland. A few minutes drive to the supermarket, Mystery Creek( Field days)Velodrome, and Hamilton City. Punnet cafe and a local 4 square ( convenience store) are walking distance, located directly on Te Awa river ride which is also a great walking path! This cottage has everything you need, including a full kitchen with dish drawer and oven, a washing machine and heat pump/Air con. All linen provided.

Please note that as the Chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, all additional visitors must leave by 10:00pm.
