Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

There is a queen bed, walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom and a small kitchen area with a microwave, jug, toaster, sandwich maker and bar fridge and a small couch with a large TV. There is also a small desk for work. It is cleaned under AirB&B procedures ; a beautiful space, with a private entrance.

Consisting of a separate bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity and washing machine. It has a kitchenette with electric stove top, Microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Fully self contained 1 x double bed Wifi Please note we also live on the property separate to this cabin. There is 2 Airbnb cabins available on our property.

Welcome to Karool Cottages, your country getaway in Mernda Victoria. This historic 1853 cottage was built of locally quarried bluestone, 'Karool' being the local aboriginal word for bluestone. It originally served as a shepherd's hut, grain store, and carriage room. The cottages and facilities were renovated in 2016 to include all of the creature comforts and amenities to provide you with a private five-star experience right in the heart of farm country.
