Tony’s spot was a great little getaway for a few days of peace and relaxation. Would definitely recommend.

This may be our best vacation rental ever! The experience was wonderful. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with a garage underneath for parking. Cindy provided numerous extra ehancements to facilitate a quality experience. For example, at the outside door, we found laterns, umbrellas, and dog bags. It rained during our stay, but the convenience of having the necessary implements for a late night dog walk, exemplified the special touches Cindy put into her place. Cindy, thank you for the use of your apartment. We loved it, and hope to return in the future.

We very much enjoyed this airbnb. We only really needed a sleeping place and place to change on this trip, but it was obvious this would be a great place for a family to hang out in the Northern Virginia area, with a nice back yard, pool and easy access to everything. We very much liked the open layout. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The bed under the stairs was especially cute and useful. We appreciated the hair dryer and other amenities provided in the bathroom and kitchen area. All the directions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you Jean-Daniel!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Basil! It was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had a good supply of pots, pans, knives, silverware, dishes, etc. It was especially nice to have a full rack of spices available so that we could cook meals without having to purchase all of the little extras. The living space was comfortable and spotless. There were many little touches that made the stay quite comfortable. Basil's location is ideal. Just a block from the Old Town walking mall, it was so easy to wander about, get great food, people watch, and enjoy the street buskers. It is also less than 3/4 of a mile from the trails of the Shenandoah Museum. The area is very walkable. It's also under 30 minutes to get to trailheads along the Appalachian Trail and under 45 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. We stayed for over a week and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend Basil.

We stayed here when a close friend of mine visited from the west coast. I've lived in the area for 22 years, but staying in Gillian's beautiful home gave me a new sense of adoration for this beautiful area. She was a fantastic host, and I cannot think of a single thing she could have done better!

Everything was great the 3rd room is s loft. It was everything that we needed when we stayed working on a project at Shenandoah University. Everything is a five to ten minute drive. Space was clean and cozy. The back deck was a cool chill out area.

Steve was extremely accommodating with booking and was fast to respond making booking his property seamless. GORGEOUS Property with lots of local restaurants and coffee shops nearby! The amount of detail that was put into the restoration of this property must be appreciated. Side note the Nespresso machine is something all Airbnb hosts should take notes on.. waking up to a watery Keurig coffee is no fun. Great job Steve and thank you again! Hope to stay at one of your properties again in the future.

This house has everything you need! Close to Shenandoah national park, Shenandoah river, caverns, ziplining, and probably more that we didn’t even have time for! The house itself has a great fenced-in yard with so much to do! Games, swingset, hot tub, outdoor projector will keep you and the kids occupied!! Feels private - you can’t see your neighbors. There’s even a workout space if you’re not too exhausted from sightseeing :)

We has an absolutely amazing time on the property! There was so much to do in and outside of the house. We loved the hiking trails, the stream for fishing and the animals to entertain the kids. There were so many different seating areas and the house has so many amenities. The house and property exceeded our expectations and give us the opportunity to unplug and have some much needed family time.

The place had beautiful surroundings, was quiet, and the house was clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in this charming cottage! The location is ideal for walking—- either around the neighborhood or downtown. We loved the charm and cozy atmosphere and spent a lot of time on the sun porch too! Can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to staying here again

The house was perfect for our family Middleburg weekend stay. It was clean, cozy, well stocked, and centrally located. The tavern across the street was so convenient and added a local feel. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Perfect location for Shenandoah National Park, 10 minute drive from the Thornton Gap Entrance. Ada’s place is right along the river walk, there is a great coffee shop on the corner and a deli featuring live music and local wine/beer all within a 5 minute walk. We stayed with our two dogs for a long weekend and it was perfect having a fenced in backyard for them. We would definitely stay here again!

This house is amazing! It has everything you need, Tom is incredibly helpful, check in was a breeze and the setting is peaceful. We commuted from the house to Winchester each day and it was only about 25 mins. Beds are comfortable and the gift basket they prepared was incredibly thoughtful. Will be looking for this place to book whenever we are in the area!

This was among the best AirBnBs we’ve experienced. It’s clear that the hosts put a lot of effort, care, and money into the design, amenities, and little touches. Not only is it beautiful, but there are also so many thoughtful touches that make it very comfortable. The views from the deck and living area are beautiful. Location is great for Shenandoah National Park, Luray, hikes, breweries, wineries, etc. Hosts were very responsive and seemed to genuinely want us to have a good stay. Highly recommend staying here!
