It is over 610 square feet with 4 separate rooms and French doors leading to our back garden with areas to relax. We are a short walk to the beach along Monterey Bay. By car you will be half way between Santa Cruz and Carmel by the Sea for shopping, dining or entertainment with many beaches to visit in between.

Capitola Hideaway is meant to be your home away from home. Serene and cozy guest suite, close to the beach and redwoods! This pet-friendly space has everything you need for your staycation, weekend getaway or special occasion! The studio apartment has a queen-sized bed, full bath, kitchenette, patio, living area with a small convertible couch and a private entrance. No shared walls with front unit. We consider Dogs to be part of the Family so If you would like to bring your dog (2 max), please add them as a guest. That will cover the added expense in the cleaning of the Bungalow.

Our home was originally built in the 1930s. The previous owners lived here until we purchased it in 2016. In the ’90s, her grandkids added onto the house and put up a wall to create a small one-bedroom unit for her to live in and they stayed in the rest of the house while caring for her. When we bought the house, we made some light updates, and we feel really lucky to now be able to share this small space with guests visiting Santa Cruz County.

Shared outdoor area. Best for guests who value location over luxury. We allow 1 dog, up to 30 lbs, with a $25/day pet fee. There is potential for noise due to it being the bottom unit.
