Great spot to get away from it all. Accommodation is unpretentious yet clean, comfortable and filled with a mountain character. Plenty of nooks to read a book and breath in fresh mountain air. This unique mountain lodge that is a rare find in an otherwise commercial world. I hesitate to leave a review as to keep it that way!

This is an attractive, comfortable room with a well equipped kitchenette, good cupboard space, safe, and the bathroom has a good-sized shower. The house is on the edge of the town, secure, and very peaceful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool and staying out of the heat under the shady roofed-area with its table and chairs. Judy and her husband were extremely pleasant and helpful. They recommended the farm stall restaurant a few minutes away and that was a success. We also enjoyed the museum and especially walking the Sevilla San Art Trail with its many marvellous cave paintings. A lovely visit, thank you.

This was a delight from tea on arrival to an early morning walk with PJ. Old Dutch house with high ceilings and an eclectic array of furniture, art and paintings.

We had an absolutely amazing and relaxing stay at Pams house. The area was beautiful and we really loved the pool and patio with grapevines. The house had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend.

We spent two nights only but enjoyed our time very much. It was spacious enough for the two of us, super cozy and comfy, everything available to prepare a simple dinner, wifi to get some work done, hot shower after a hike (or pool to cool down) and lovely garden and patio to relax with a glass of wine. Safe car parking included, fan was provided,… we were more than satisfied.

Wow wow wow! Truly a magical place. Anabela was the most incredible host, so friendly and welcoming. Her little touches in the room were so special. This place truly is a hidden gem. Everything from the amazing linen, to the gowns, to the warm feeling you get as soon as you walk in. It’s in a great location, close to town but it still feels remote and quiet. We will DEFINITELY be back!

If I really had to try find something to complain about, I would not be able to. Our stay was nothing short of perfect! The host was great with communication from the moment we booked and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The place itself was stunning. Top quality everything – honestly, if I could move in, I would. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful setting. Peaceful and quiet but still close enough to everything. The bed was unreal. Best sleep I’ve ever had. Most places are strict about checking out before 10am and I’m not a morning person – I love a good sleep-in. The host told us not to rush and to leave whenever, which I really appreciated. To be honest, they could be charging more for what you get. I’d 100% recommend this spot to anyone and I’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zia Cottage! Honestly, the photos simply can't do this charming cottage justice. It's even more beautiful and inviting in person. Chantal has a truly meticulous eye for detail. Every corner of the cottage has been thoughtfully curated, from the stylish decor to the incredibly comfortable furnishings and the little touches that made us feel so welcome. We really appreciated wine from the area, olives, fresh flowers and even sweets and bubbles for the kids! The location of Zia Cottage is also fantastic. It's perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area, with both Tulbagh and Wolseley just a short and scenic drive away. There's truly so much to see and do on the property as well as in the surrounding area! We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Thanks so much Chantal.

Stephans place is a happy place. The pictures don’t describe, how beautiful it is. He is so nice. If you ever go to darling, go to Stephan, you won’t regret it.

Hannelie en Deon zijn hele lieve mensen die het hun gasten erg naar hun zin willen maken. Ze hebben een fijne accommodatie, rustig gelegen. Ze hadden allerlei nuttige tips voor ons wat betreft uitstapjes. En we hebben heel erg genoten van hun gezelschap! Dankzij hun hebben we kunnen genieten van onze eerste Afrikaanse Braai tijdens een gezellig samenzijn.

We had an absoliutely amazing stay at Iziba Cheetah. Damien was a great host,we felt at home immediately.I strongly recommend this establishment for a getaway in nature . We saw the best flowers ever.

What a lovely and beautiful place. The view is great. Will recommend the place for any one that wants to stay in Saldanhabay. Antoinette was a great host willing to help where ever she could and walk the extra mile to accommodate us .
