The breakfast in the morning was amazing, homemade food. The set up the breakfast table every morning and were so quick and quiet you didn't even know they were there. The farm is very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend.

Such a lovely getaway in the woods! The place is exactly as pictured but the natural light all the large sliding glass doors let in is even better! It is very secluded, the wifi is powerful and allowed me to work and take video calls no problem, and the deck is lovely. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back in the future.

My girlfriend and I went to go hike the New River Gorge and wanted to find a place to stay at that was close to the park and a nice little town, this place accomplishes both. It’s two minutes from the park and a stones throw from Fayetteville. This is also one of the most unique places I’ve stayed at on Airbnb. It’s a very welcoming place and very romantic for a nice getaway. It’s got a fire pit as well if you are looking to make some s’mores or just hangout. Holly is also very communicative, welcoming and helpful. She does everything she can to make sure you have the best possible stay. I couldn’t say enough good things about her and this place. I hope whoever is reading this takes my word for it and books this place immediately, you won’t regret it, I promise.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well kept. There were a lot of memorabilia related to the history of the cabin and farm. Hands down favorite part was the giant screened in porch with fireplace and hot tub. We even bought an air mattress to "camp out" one night on the porch. Best sleep I've had in years! Like every place in WV, it's a bit off the main roads, but that's the appeal. No traffic to contend with and quiet relaxation. Even with the drive, groceries and some restaurants are only about 20 min away. Would definitely go back.

Lovely cabin and view. We loved having a cozy fireplace and hot tub. Playing ping pond downstairs was so much fun. We had 8 guest and it was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy time together but also space to have quiet time. We skied at Canaan Valley and enjoyed our time on the slopes. We will certainly be back.

My husband and I stayed 2 months there, my daughter and son-in-law with their pet visited us a few times during our stay. The back deck view was our favorite, especially when the days get shorter and temperatures drop, yellow, amber, orange...colors were in the leaves. It's amazing to see the foliage happening. Thank you, Julie! She was a phenomenal host, the best Airbnb host I've ever had . She is quick to respond to any questions or concerns and give us great recommendations on where to eat and what to do while we were in Rio. The house is clean, beds were comfortable, surrounding is beautiful and the environment is peaceful. We enjoyed our stay, would definitely book again while we are nearby.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our Easter. Chris and his team were responsive and beyond friendly. We felt right at home the minute we walked in and were absolutely blown away by the view. This property truly feels like a little piece of heaven and we feel so blessed we were able to experience it together. We can look back on this weekend and remember a proposal under the stars, which felt like an absolute dream. We wouldn’t have wanted to have our special moment anywhere else. We look forward to hopefully planning our wedding in this very same spot in 2026! Thank you so much for having us! ❤️

Absolutely beautiful place! Loved every second of it! Very peaceful! Perfect for getting away from the everyday hustle! It was exactly what we needed!

The barn was perfect for our weekend stay. The location was beautiful and the barn had tons of amenities to keep busy. Julie was very responsive and helpful! Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Run In Barn. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a great family gathering. The beds were comfortable and the quiet surroundings were especially nice. The rain kept us from using the huge patio and fire table, but we look forward to coming back again to enjoy the outdoor space. Awesome stay!
