Where to begin this place was great!! Exactly as described and photos were spot on. Enjoyed watching the lake from the comfy sitting chairs and having morning coffee. This place was wheelchair accessible as I’m my mothers caregiver this allowed her to travel with us. There is neighbors but it felt so secluded. My husband and son caught some nice fish from the dock. New recently added hot tub was a great bonus. Tessa was very responsive to my messages. Will definitely be returning.

Nice lake house. Comfortable spaces. The living room was spacious but only 1 table lamp to light the space after dark. This house is not one to pick for anyone with mobility issues as all bedrooms are downstairs and kitchen/living room upstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

A large, beautiful house in a lovely area of Hickory. Our party of 7 adults and 3 children were in the area for a wedding and the house was roomy enough for all of us to be comfortable. The house is furnished with everything you need for a great visit, including a well stocked kitchen. The view from the deck is gorgeous.. Diane is very responsive--any question I asked was answered immediately. We highly recommend this listing and would go back there if the occasion arose to be in Hickory again.

This house was awesome! My Fiancé and I rented this to gather family for Easter 2025. Linda gave us permission to have family who were semi local to visit for our Easter dinner which was so special to us! My guests staying with us were impressed with how relaxing the back area was with the pool and the sunroom. We had multiple adults, our niece (6mo) and several of our 4 legged nieces / nephews and there was plenty of space for us all. We are so grateful for Linda and her generosity! The day of check out one of our guests had rental car issues that took several hours to correct. Linda was gracious enough to extend our check out to allow time for them to fix the car issues and then get back to the house to pack up. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great time at this home. Our kids loved using the provided kayaks and swimming in the beach area and fishing. The house had what we needed and more for a perfect weekend getaway for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable for us all. We definitely will be back. Our host was responsive and gave clear instructions about our stay. We can’t wait to return again!

Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

My friends & I enjoyed this stay overall. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, & the house definitely served that purpose in many ways. It's very big & spacious, many cozy rooms with very comfy beds, & of course the best part of the property is the SPECTACULAR view of the lake, no matter where you're in or around the house. Also really loved the sun room but was disappointed we mostly couldn't use it at night because it was too cold out and the space is not well-insulated or heated. We tried to use space heaters, but that mostly didn't work. There were a few other issues throughout the house, like a few of the sunroom panes being off their track and seemingly impossible to put back on, a broken freezer handle, big speakers throughout the common areas that mostly didn't work, string lights in the sun room that were partially out and the main light out there not coming on, & the stove requiring stainless steel pots and pans to work. Otherwise, a great spot & getaway. I would come back.

Serenity Cove was absolutely incredible! The pictures didn’t do it justice! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with some friends. The views were incredible and picturesque. The location was the best of both worlds being far enough from the city to feel like you’re tucked in your own little wonderland but still close enough in case you need to run to the store, go uptown or place a delivery order. The house is stocked with all sorts of things like cooking utensils and games and truly nothing beats just sitting and spending time on their amazing deck. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a spot for a getaway in the Charlotte area.

This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and just what our family needed. So grateful that we were able to bring our sweet dog too. Our son is way into fishing-the dock was exactly what we were looking for. LeeAnn is an incredible host, answered any and all questions and the place was exactly as she described. We already know that we will be back and can’t wait to plan our next visit.

Jack was a great host! He supplied everything we needed for a fun, lakehouse vacation. Comfortable, clean, safe, quiet! The pictures were accurate and lakefront location was even better than the pictures. The only thing to know ahead of time of that the second bedroom (while clean and very comfortable) is a captured room (enter and exit only through the first bedroom). This is not ideal. It may have been explained in the description and the accurate pictures, but we were caught unaware. Loved our time there! I hope to return.

My family and I loved this home so much that we can’t wait to go back. The home is beautiful inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, amazing deck and dock. The view from this home is absolutely gorgeous. We loved watching people enjoying the lake on their boats and jet skis. My daughters loved the paddle boat. The home is fully supplied with life vests also. We really appreciated that. This home outshined any home I ever booked. 10 out of 10! Can’t get over the views and multiple decks. We will be back :).

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 1/2 month stay at Chris and Stephanie’s. It did not seem too big for the two of us yet it was plenty big when we had kids/grandkids over for the day. The location was ideal for us. I don’t believe there is a single cooking item/utensil that the kitchen lacks- very impressive!! The wall of windows is perfect for seeing all the cardinals that come to the feeder. When there were minor issues, Chris responded as quickly as possible. Two thumbs up!

Such a fun little spot on the lake. Cozy and clean. We had a blast fishing and sitting in the sunroom reading. Well appointed and located close enough to town for convenience but isolated enough to feel like an escape.

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The house was perfect and the view could not be beat. We had a wonderful time on the kayaks and would definitely book again!

Beautiful and relaxing little cabin by a pond. Great for excursions to hiking spots in the region. Joey was very helpful and responsive. Be aware that there is no stove/oven, but there is a microwave and gas grill. We really enjoyed using the grill, which is on a patio overlooking the pond!

We loved our stay on the lake. I loved the area. It was a great place to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Our boys really enjoyed the kayaks. The house was really close to so many places and activities in the Charlotte area.

I rented the place as a Christmas present for my daughter and her husband. I kept my granddaughter while they stayed. They had problems with the internet and James made a trip to the house and personally fixed the problem. They said he was really nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Roberta’s place! Definitely recommend, especially when the weather is warmer so the lake activities can be enjoyed.
