Foley's Cottage - Restored 18th century Farmhouse.

Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

Wexford Golf Club is less than 5 mins drive where you will find lovely views from the bar restaurant if you don't want to play golf. we are 10 mins taxi ride from the train station,taxi rank outside Dunnes Stores across the street from station.

The house is ideally situated for a quick stop heading to or from the ferry in Rosslare, as it is approx 30 minutes away , or stay a bit longer and see all that Wexford has to offer.

We have a local pub 4 minutes walk away but all shops etc are located in or near the town. . (hotub charges extra )
