We loved our stay in Angela's cottage. She was so friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of local recommendations, and even had a fire going for us when we arrived. It was the perfect start to our Ireland holiday and we would happily stay again.

Highroad House is absolutely amazing, truly a home away from home! The whole place was spotless, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable, with super cozy beds, reclining sofas, and a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook and a huge fridge for all the goodies we bought. There were so many thoughtful little touches that made our stay extra special — phone chargers and USB adapters in the bedrooms, super-fast Wi-Fi (it's a 6, not a B!), throws if it was cold and loads of hot water. Every detail was so well thought out. Holly was fantastic — so friendly, responsive, and easy to deal with, which made the whole booking experience completely stress-free. And the EV charger at the house for guests to use was the cherry on top — a really great bonus! I honestly can’t recommend Highroad House enough. It’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge, and the ideal base for exploring the stunning local area. We didn’t want to leave, especially as the sun was shining

John’s house is an absolute gem of a property. A beautiful quiet location with the village right on the doorstep and with sea views - what more could you ask for! The house is immaculately kept and is so comfortable. It’s very spacious and lots of thought has gone into the detail so you can switch off from your everyday life to your holiday life with ease. We highly recommend this property if you are heading to the sunny south coast.

Highly recommend staying at Declan's if you get the chance! The property is a lovely clean spacious house close to a beautiful beach and a short drive to all the amenities you could want, as well as lots of places to visit and things to do in the south east of Ireland. The fireplace in the living area is a real focal point of the property, and makes the space so cosy. We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: we had all the pots and pans needed to cook as if we were at home. Declan himself is a fantastic host - super responsive, friendly and helpful. Everything was so easy and it was a joy to stay there. Thank you, Declan!

Jean made it feel like home, I was with my elderly parents in their 80s visiting my in-laws who really enjoyed it & were happy to park off when my wife & I had to leave them for various reasons. If we back in Gorey as live abroad & will hopefully be able to use Jeans home again.

Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again. Rose’s place was absolutely beautiful. Myself and my friends came here for a girls night away and it was perfect! The beds were so comfortable, the fire outside was so warm and homely, and the hot tub was the highlight of the night.

Thanks Jamie, we had a really nice family get together just after Christmas. We enjoyed the house and the amazing gardens. The 2 goats caused great amusement and your beautiful dogs. Right beside the beautiful Ballytrent beach. House lovely and warm and enjoyed snuggling up by the fire at night..

The house was very tidy and cosy, with some lovely added personal touches (fresh apples, biscuits, crisps etc) left at the kitchen counter. Bathrooms were particularly tidy and well stocked with everything you need. The fireplace in the house is amazing. I wish we had more time to spend here, but it was only a short visit this time, with flexible check-in and check-out times, and easy communication. Would recommend this accommodation!

We had a lovely,short stay in Margaret's place. The annex is very quiet and peaceful and was a perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the addition of cosy blankets made the living room homey. Thanks again

Orla facilitated our request for a stay at very short notice. The place is was very clean, comfortable and close to Dunmore East. We had a fantastic stay and will 100% be back.

Patrick's hospitality knows no bounds. once he knew I was travelling with my elderly mother, he offered to pick us up from the bus stop and even stopped at a shop to allow me to get groceries for us. The flat was perfect for our needs incl. step free access, and we felt very comfortable from the start. it's in a great location, only a few minutes from town. Thank you Paddy for your generosity!

Alex and his family were gracious hosts during our stay. We were delighted to see their beautiful castle home, and the private apartment was lovely. Breakfast was filling and delicious!

Lovely upstairs apartment within short walking distance of the beach. Host had moved out so the place was homely but not cluttered. Would highly recommend.

Had a gorgeous time in the Bay. Look forward to returning . There’s more to explore. The apartment was very well fitted out - didn’t need a thing. Local banter at the bay for sea swims very informative and friendly. Close to big supermarket and a visit would not be complete without a trip to the Lobster Pot.
