An idyllic house in a stunning location - not to mention the historical links to Thomas Hardy! The house is comfortable and feels very much a family home - not like some places which are devoid of atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Accurately described how to find and were even greeted with freshly baked brownies and 2 gorgeous doggies! Absolutely spotless and clean, very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The Ship Inn was a short 5 minute walk and did great food and only a 5 minute drive from Monkey World! Overall lovely stay, thank you both very much.

Loved my stay with Laura. The airbnb was immaculate and I love the little touches she has. She's very considerate. Very kind and friendly. She gave some really good suggestions for my day trip and I wasn't disappointed. Will book here again to visit the jurassic coast again.

We enjoyed our stay at Georgia's place. The apartment was quite cold on our first evening (it was an unusually cold April/ Easter weekend, and the central heating had been switched off, presumably after the winter), but after the first night the heat from the electric wall-mounted heater built up in the flat. Also, Lara (Georgia's mother) was very friendly and helpful and provided us on our first morning with an extra heater, though in the end we hardly needed it. The location is very peaceful despite being beside a medium busy road, and there are good footpaths running from opposite the house. We resolved the problem of exiting the parking spot close to the blind turning by approaching the property from the South, although that's a detour from many places, and leaving Northwards. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and comfortable, and, whilst quite small, it was adequate for us for four nights and very good value.

This was our second family stay at Emma’s Orangery and it will definitely not be our last. It is such a perfect space, a peaceful setting and a beautiful home which is 15mins from beaches, amusements and restaurants. Emma is a great host being very helpful and communicative but along our whole stay feel very private. The property is amazing and for a family of 4 like us it is just perfect. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to stay around the Dorchester Weymouth area to go that little bit further away and stay in this house if they can. You won’t be disappointed.

Wir haben hier eine Nacht auf der Durchreise verbracht und die Wohnung war so wie beschrieben. Besonders wichtig waren für uns die Waschmaschine und der Trockner und die Möglichkeit selber kochen zu können. Das kleine Willkommenspaket mit Milch, Müsli und Keksen hat uns sehr gefreut.

If this looks like the kind of place you would like to stay from the pictures, then this is DEFINITELY a place you should stay, beautiful building, with the evocative background smell of years of wood fires. Was lovely and warm when we arrived with fresh garden flowers on the kitchen table. Absolutely magical thanks so much for a perfect stay!!!

Rosie is such a lovely lady, great communication and we were thrilled to stay on the farm. Beautiful surroundings, great walks on your doorstep and a short car journey to a number of beaches, attractions, a great fish and chip and farm shop just down the road!
