We are close to Stratton, Bromley & Manchester and you’ll enjoy beautiful scenery & hiking right outside your front door. The Cabin has an open floor plan with a full bath, galley kitchen & dining/living area with pullout futon couch that converts into a 2nd bed. The sleeping loft is accessible by ladder. Read a book, walk the meditation circle, swing in the hammock, and explore all that Southern VT has to offer. Close to swimming holes, hikes, country stores, flea and farmers' markets, and ski mountains (Mt Snow and Stratton) Pets and children are welcome, but there is only one queen bed. We can usually provide a travel crib if requested in advance.

The Hideaway Camp

The Hideaway Camp is a very private cabin on a 100 acre property. There are hiking/x country ski trails on the property and close access to the VAST trails. A scenic 20 acre pond for kayack and canoeing and a brook with a rustic cocktail deck overlooking it. the Jacksonville General store is 2 minutes away and it is warm and friendly with all the groceries you might need. The cabin is well stocked for cooking and with high speed internet you can WFH or stream favorite shows.

Our cabin is the ideal Vermont vacation spot, with soaring wood panel rooms, massive brick fireplace in the living room, large wrap around deck, hot tub and sauna. Room for all with four bedrooms, open concept living, dining room, living room, kitchen and lower level family room. The perfect Vermont get away. The cabin is located just minutes from Stratton mountain. We have weekend Shuttle service in our neighborhood to and from the mountain during ski season.
