Bed & breakfasts in Windsor and Maidenhead

It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

Absolutely gorgeus place! One of my best (maybe the best) Airbnb-experience ever! The house is sooooo beautiful, it was an unforgettable experience to see this beautiful house and be able to accomodate and sleep there (in a very comfortable bed!). Lissy and Richard were so friendly and helpful — picking us up from the Station (AirPort) and giving as a lift back there next morning. A breakfast pack was a nice surprise! Hope to be back some day. Ps. Great bistro/restaurant nearby!

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

We had a lovely stay at The Garden House. Kate was away but her husband, Mark provided us with a warm welcome, a cup of tea on arrival and looked after us throughout our stay. The rooms were very comfortable, the cooked breakfast excellent and the garden beautiful. The house is a short walk, or even shorter drive away from the centre of the village and not too far off the Pilgrims Way which we were walking. Sadly we could only stay one night but I shall have my fingers crossed that the Garden House is available when I am next visiting the area.

Ons verblijf in dit Airbnb appartement was heerlijk. De sfeer was warm en gezellig; mijn kinderen voelden zich meteen thuis. De gastheer was bijzonder vriendelijk en nam uitgebreid de tijd om zijn kennis en liefde voor Londen en Engeland te delen. Overal waren kleine boekenhoekjes met uiteenlopende onderwerpen – voor de lezers onder ons een waar genot. Alles was keurig verzorgd en we hebben enorm genoten van deze ervaring. Zeer tevreden en absoluut een aanrader!

This visit was a return stay at Harriet’s place. Harriet is a warm and hospitable host who gave me some great suggestions about cafes, theatre and art exhibitions. Her home is in a convenient part of London. The train and buses close by. The room is cosy, with loads of sunshine, a lovely outlook to the garden and importantly - a comfortable bed. I recommend Harriet’s place and I look forward to another visit.

Kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende, fick allt som utlovats och lite till. En underbar engelsk frukost som serverades i ett vackert rum. Rummet och badrummet var vackert inredda. Värdparet och hunden :) fick oss att känna oss bekväma och välkomna.

Fiona was a stellar host. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very much enjoyed chatting to Fiona over breakfast and appreciated any advice given on how to get around the city. An amazing experience which we would be happy to repeat when going back to London. Many thanks!

Very nice place and people to live with! Clean, comfortable bed, very god breakfast! The only things to say something about is that it is a bit of from London city ( half an hour with train to Victoria station) and the train passes just outside. We had a delightful stay at The Bottle & Glass Inn. We were only there for 1 night as we were visiting friends in the Henley area so it was an ideal location. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast in the adjacent barn next to the wood burning stove was great as it was a rainy day. The Full English was tasty, nice sourdough toast & good coffee. Despite the rain, we enjoyed a lovely walk through the surrounding woods and then went back to the barn to dry off by the fire. The staff were all extremely friendly & helpful and the stand out was Paul, who greeted us warmly at the bar, showed us to the room and helped us work out how to switch on the bedside lamps! He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure our stay was seamless & comfortable. Outstanding! Will definitely stay again when we visit the area.

Margaret and her husband, Morris are warm and welcoming. They both were very helpful. Margaret is responsible for their guests and she is very competent - right on top of things all the time. I found the quiet, comfortable space I was looking for. She provided a great breakfast and I enjoyed meeting them and chatting to them. Great stay.

Always my first choice of a stay in Abingdon. A friendly welcome and everything perfect as always.

L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix

I can’t say enough good things about Diana. She was a very warm and gracious host. She allowed me to drop my bags before checking and leave my bags after which was a big plus for me and to top that all off,. She made me a homemade breakfast which was delicious! It is an easy walk to the tube or the bus . There’s a beautiful park right down the way from her home . I felt very safe walking alone, as a solo traveler, this was perfect . If you want to feel like you’re at home,, Diana‘s place is for you. Thank you so much,, Diana, for opening your lovely home to me!

Had a great stay at Bianca's place! It was on a quiet street with a gorgeous view of the Thames and walkable to transport and downtown Oxford. The house was lovely and comfortable. Bianca was super communicative and helpful. I will definitely stay with her again when I'm in Oxford!

Zane is exceptionally pleasant lady and I felt very comfortable during my stay at her house. Recommend :)

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

This is the second time I have stayed with Kristina. A great place, peaceful, clean and Kristina is a lovely welcoming host.

Brilliant place to stay, really easy to find with added bonus of off road parking. Sue and Angela were great hosts and very welcoming. Excellent communication and after arriving earlier than planned Sue made herself available straight away to help sort us out which was really appreciated. Superb facilities with large bedroom and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect for setting us up for the day. Spent two days in central London and found it very easy to walk to either Balham or Tooting Bec tube giving us speedy access to a variety of locations. Highly recommend staying here, Sue and Angela were very supportive not only with their local knowledge but also ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We very much hope to go back if available on our next trip to London.

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆

A perfect place to spend the night - comfortable and clean. Rodolph and Nalini are a lovely welcoming couple and made me feel right at home. I will be back!

Andrew was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The bedroom was very pleasant and comfortable. Andrew`s house is ideally situated in Windsor for walking to the town centre, castle and the Long Walk. We enjoyed his hospitality and his cooked breakfast. Andrew also welcomed our dog without any problems. The use of his off street parking was also useful.

Great stay at Jon’s place, which was conveniently located after a late flight into Gatwick. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable!
