Kristy’s partner gave us a helpful hand by phone to find them. We’d been walking Offa’s Dyke all day. He was also considerate, apologising for lawn mowing, which didn’t bother us. The Airbnb is absolutely beautiful: tall and airy and appears brand new. Immaculate kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, with outdoor seating. Lovely comfortable bed, beautiful towels and bed linen. Wonderful wildlife visible from the window: rabbits, chaffinches… Just a little noise from passing vehicles at night/ hardly a problem. A perfect stop over for us!

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at Keith and Liz’s place. Communication was fantastic and it was easy to check in. We were given detailed instructions that we could add to our Tesco delivery that we booked ahead of time. We were two families of 4, the kids loved the house and were sad to come home. Everything was as expected and more. I personally loved sitting in the conservatory watching all the different birds in the bushes outside (bring your bird book!) and we were so excited to see pheasants right outside too! We recommend the Xplore science centre in Wrexham for a rainy day with kids, and tried to visit the Shropshire sculpture park on the way home but unfortunately it was closed due to high winds..an excuse to come back for sure! Thanks for everything 😊

We had the most wonderful stay at the yurt, complete exceeded our expectations. So peaceful and private, had everything and more we needed. Comfortable and cozy, even with the cold weather. The hot tub, out door kitchen and log burner just made the whole experience perfect. Above all else the best experience of our stay was Michael the host. So polite and welcoming, many suggestions and information tailored to our interests. Helpful in every way. Would wholly recommend, and would love to stay again ☺️

10/10 Jane made you feel instantly welcome and comfortable. The view is out of this world!! You cannot fault this place, everything has been thought of. We defiantly will be back! Plus it’s incredible for dogs we took ours the field at the back is a great benefit. Beautifully scenery and surroundings x

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Carpenters Cottage - it’s spacious, clean, extremely well equipped, and set among a beautiful farmland with woods and lakes. We loved the tour of the 14th century chapel (thank you Rupert!) and my son was beside himself with excitement to spot the pigs, dogs, and tractors going past. The property is even better than it looks on the photos. Thank you to Harriet for a wonderful break

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

Ash Cabin at Bramblewoods with stunning views

We had an incredible couple of nights at Ash Cabin. The cabin had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Amazing scenery and peaceful surroundings. A highlight of our stay was sitting out on the deck with a book and a cup of tea, listening to the sheep and the birds. Would highly recommend!

Loki Hut Graig Escapes

Fantastic two nights at Loki hut at Graigs escapes. Peaceful, tranquil, and cosy. Perfect space for two people, and the scenery’s and animals were amazing, so friendly and a lovely touch to our stay. Thank you so very much. Although the weather was not the best, it was great to wind down inside the hut and play games, read and spend quality time together. It was perfect views out the window and we’ve left feeling very refreshed and revitalised.

Whilst the wreather played a significan role in our stay, the accommodation and rural setting were fantastic. Becuase of the great weather, we had the chance to use the heated pool, as well as enjoy diverse local walks through woodlands, along the river and through fields. The accommodation literallty was exposed to sunlight from dawn until dusk. Highly recommended.

Cabin in Llay, Wrexham

had a lovely time at the cabin, just what we needed very peaceful was actually nice not to have a TV..we played games and chatted . Skylar out dog loves the garden and took a special interest in the ducks, she did escape from the garden and played with James's own dogs and James didn't seem to fazed by it. it was very private and felt like we were the only ones around. there were games and books for us to use and the cabin was lovely and homely with the log burner on. all in all was a lovely break from the norm and would come back again if he would have us and our mutt.

Fabulous house in the most beautiful, serene setting. Gorgeous interiors, and we felt instantly at home. The house was really comfortable (particularly great beds and pillows) and Zoe was a very generous host. We’ll be back!

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!

We had a great stay at Church Walks. The property was exactly as described, spacious and well laid out, we were able to relax after fun days out around Gwynedd and Conwy. Clear instruction on how everything works and some good recommendations for what to do in the area. Llandudno itself is a beautiful Victorian seaside town, with lots of places to eat and drink. The property is located in a quiet spot but still with easy walking distance of the town centre. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great value for a great place to stay. A short drive away from the busy centre of Llangollen so it was very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful welsh surroundings literally on the door step. Hosts were very friendly but as they’d organised the accommodation so well, we didn’t really need to bother them! The house has everything needed for a short stay to make our stay all the more convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends with their families! Diolch yn fawr

Very lovely. We only had 1 evening there. I came to visit the Lavinia Shop. Fresh milk and fruit, and available tea, coffe and hot chocolate.

We had a fabulous stay. Maria was so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable. A peaceful spot in a lovely little village. The pub run by Maria and her husband is cosy, friendly and serves delicious food. We would love to come back again.

Great two nights stay, while visiting family member in Chester Uni (only 20 min from Chester). Comfortable and fully equipped. My old two dogs enjoyed fully fenced garden. Welcome goodies -wine, pastry, milk and dog biscuits- much appreciated!! Picturesque village with lots of walks and lovely atmosphere- Holt castle within walking distance. Nice host, clear instructions, easy to find. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place. Loved the hot tub and the swinging chairs on the balcony. So peaceful! Had everything we needed for our stay. Gary was very helpful and friendly and communication was great. Would definitely recommend! Carlito's pizza, a 2 minute walk outside The Park Place Pub is a must too. Absolutely delicious.

It’s a great location. When you step out it’s just the beach. It’s not a busy location- calm and secluded just next to the high street. You can see the sunrise from your bedroom which is decorated well. Ideal for a family of 4 or a couple. Would highly recommend this place
