Our family traveled to Pennsylvania to ski at Elk Mountain and was fortunate to identify such an extraordinary home and host. We truly enjoyed our stay at Leisha’s home on the lake .. it was well maintained, clean, and organized. Leisha was very supportive of our special needs and I would undoubtedly recommend this Airbnb property to other parties exploring options in the region. Due to the lakeside location, the magic is certainly in the warmer months; however, for the winter enthusiasts seeking a country home proximal to Pennsylvania’s best skiing, consider Leisha’s home .. you’ll enjoy your stay.

Beautiful house with a great view of the lake. House was easy to get to and the check in process was very easy. The rooms and beds were all clean and the hot tub, fire pit and grill were very nice to have. Everything worked and I had no issues. Easy communication with the host and answered any questions or concerns I had. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a house on the lake

We decided to take a little spring break get away and found Micheal’s place had all we needed for our family! He was easy to get a hold of and answered all of my questions quickly. The house was very clean and comfortable. There is plenty to do inside with all the games and also plenty’s of kayaks and all for some lake fun as well. We had a peaceful and fun stay. We highly recommend this place to make great family memories!

Perfect stay for 6 women from our church for a Women’s Retreat. Peaceful and tranquil, beautiful view of the lake. Everything was very clean. Small kitchen but large dining space with extra space in living space for snacks , etc. It worked perfectly for what we needed for a retreat. We will definitely be back!

The house and amenities were just perfect! I enjoyed sitting on the lake view porch just taking in the beautiful scenery. The house itself was pristine, very well decorated and so clean! The host was super responsive which I really appreciated! The bed in the main room was super comfortable and made us feel right at home! We loved it! I’d highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely amazing stay that we had. The lake was peaceful and very quiet. The house and parking was extremely accessible and easy to find. We highly recommend this house for anyone just looking for a weekend to get away or for a family trip. Our dogs had their best vacation thanks to the hosts. The property was big for the dogs to run on and play while we relaxed in the hot tub with a view of the lake. They provided propane, which was fantastic because we were able to grill and make s’mores on the fire pit. The rear covered porch was fantastic because it did rain one day that we were there, but that was no issue and we were still able to definitely get our moneys worth out of the vacation because of that porch as well. We would highly recommend and plan to visit again!

A spectacular location and a great house. Lots of thoughtful touches - a fully equipped kitchen, water shoes and life jackets for the kayaks, etc. Many hiking trails nearby, the waterfalls trail at Ricketts Glen is a standout. And the hot tub overlooking the lake is an amazing way to close out any day.

Mary and Teresa's space was a wonderful experience - beautiful, historic home on a beautiful piece of property on the Lake. Mary greeted us and gave us some history which added a personal touch. Very comfortable bed, shower and living room. We were only there for two full days but we took a trip into Jim Thorpe (Mary's suggestion) and it was worth it - happening little town. Not much I can say that hasn't been divulged already in the AirBnb comments - except you will not be disappointed! Also, I'd like to note that my husband and I are avid AirBnBers and find there are two types of hosts that offer their space - those that seem to place profit over people (lacking in connection) and those that seem to like a win-win - Mary and Teresa are definitely the 2nd category! Thank you!

Host was very responsive and proactive. We experienced a brief loss of power and they reached out immediately to check in and make sure our stay was not aversely affected. Nice tranquil setting on a dead end road with very little vehicle traffic.

Spent the weekend here and it was beautiful and amazing !!! it was just what me and my partner needed !!! great host... got to meet them and they were wonderful people ....set the fire alarm off but it happens often thank God lol I would recommend booking this place

Martin could not have been more accommodating. He responded very quickly to my questions. His home was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed . Allison’s cottage is a wonderful spot! My partner and I spent a very nice week there. Allison was so helpful, responsive, and detailed. Every room was pristinely clean, and nicely decorated. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay. The cabin is located close enough to attractions, restaurants, and stores, but still felt quiet and peaceful!

Great place to relax for a few days. Secluded location makes it easy to shut out the world and enjoy quality time. The host is very responsive to any inquiry and keeps the place tidy.

Beautiful and peaceful lakeside home to get away to. View from the back yard is just stunning! Pamela was wonderful with clear instructions on checking in and out. As well as house rules and what was needed when leaving at the end of our stay. All the photos posted on the listing were accurate, as well as the description. We stayed Fri-Mon, and just truly enjoyed every moment at the house. We felt 'right at home' in the house, and just felt it was a beautiful escape for the weekend. We would highly recommend this lakeside home for a peaceful and relaxing getaway! And if we ever get the chance to stay again , we most certainly would! S&J

place was just as pictured maybe even better. it was perfect for my group of 8 and everyone had their own bed. kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for the weekend. we really enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. would definitely recommend to others and would stay again next time i visit the Poconos.

We stayed at Kelly's home to relax and celebrate a 30th birthday. It is a beautiful home with many activities to do on site. Kelly was very responsive and easy to communicate with regarding anything throughout our stay. Would stay again!

The place was spotless I loved everything about it. It has everything you needs and it was very clean and confortable. The communication was great, Ana responded quickly.
