The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

The Barn is 18th Century and recently converted. It has 1 bedroom with a Super king zip and link bed which can also be made up as a twin if requested. The space is beautifully furnished and equipped with an electric Aga, washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Excellent Starlink WIFI for remote working. A lovely purpose built annexe, with fitted kitchen to include washing machine,dishwasher,refridgerator,oven/hob and microwave.Lounge has TV with dvd,books and games,wi-fi,sofa-bed and French doors to garden with garden chairs/table and BBQ.The bedroom has a superking sized bed that can be unzipped and unlinked to make two singles if required and built-in wardrobes.Bathroom has shower over bath with basin and W.C.The property has underfloor heating and secure outside storage for bicycles etc.

Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is situated in Nenthead, one of the highest villages in England, standing at 1,500ft above sea level. It is nestled within the stunning Northern Pennines (AONB) UNESCO Global Geopark and sits next to the historic Nenthead Mines site, which was once a major centre for lead and silver mining. Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is on the C2C cycle route, it is also next to Isaac’s Tea Trail and only a drive away from the Lake District, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers.

Recently converted cottage with panoramic views

A detached stone cottage in the heart of the north Pennines. Stunning views. With fantastic footpaths, cycle routes straight from the door for those with plenty of energy as it is hilly. Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

The rooms we offer have been designed with the explorer in mind, to use a base to explore the local surrounding area, the Lake District, Northumberland and Durham. We have had guests walking the Isaacs Tea Trail as well as cyclists doing the C2C. After a long day exploring the local area return to refresh yourself in our spacious bathroom complete with underfloor heating.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements!
