Jacqueline is friendly and a great host! This place is pristine! Peaceful, private and pleasant retreat. Dreamy backyard to add to the ambiance. Scenic views! Lots to do in the area, with great history. Would and will defiantly stay here again for a quick peaceful getaway. This place had everything I needed. Cozy, comfortable spared no expense. We wanted to spend a few days in York to visit friends. Location is perfect since it's about 1/4 mile away from our friends' farm. Jeff/Shannon were very responsive and clear with communication. The house and ammenities were all we needed for a very nice, peaceful stay. Kitchen was stocked, had complimentary OJ, milk and bread in the fridge. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels for use. We slept in the master bedroom, which was perfectly adequate. Sat on the front porch a bit. Parking was fine and I understand why we had to remove our shoes upon entering the house. Lots of mud, especially after the rain. The only upgrade I'd recommend would be to add a graveled parking area to the right of the house with walking path to the front porch to avoid tracking mud inside. Also, the Roku was confusing/did not work too well. We couldn't figure out how to change channels and sync with sound, so perhaps have a user manual for guests. Great stay overall and will stay again! Thanks!

To start, Amanda was BEYOND helpful! Super friendly, quick to respond and SO VERY KIND! The property was stunning! It had everything we needed! The large dining room in the basement was the perfect spot for us to eat Easter breakfast and Easter dinner together! The kitchen had everything you could ever want to cook dinner! Fresh eggs were provided to us and they were delicious!!! The bedrooms were spotless, the beds were very comfy! The outdoor property was so BEAUTIFUL! We spent Easter here with my parents and their 4 grandbabies! We created the best memories kicking around the soccer ball, blowing bubbles and exploring the stunning property!! My mom cried multiple times because she said she felt “so peaceful” watching her grandbabies running around amongst the dandelions. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda’s property! We hope to revisit again one day! It truly made Easter 2025 so memorable for our entire family!

The place was serene with comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed the tranquility and privacy. A perfect place for our getaway. Able to work and downtime to enjoy the nature trails and beautiful Susquehanna. Hope to return again.

Heron's Hollow- The Barn with hot tub!

The barn is beautiful. Situated on a pond, this place is perfect for families or anyone looking for breath of fresh air. The hosts were extremely communicative and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as smooth as possible. There are many areas of the property to explore - fishing in the pond, chickens, fire pit, and hot tub. The barn itself was very clean and had everything we needed. We will be back!

We are from Philadelphia and wanted to have a girls weekend to celebrate a 35th birthday. We came across Joel’s place and immediately could tell it would be the perfect fit. The location was a 12 min walk to the downtown area and there was many walk-able places around. This was the MOST beautifully decorated Airb&b I’ve ever stayed in. The whole space was so modern and clean. The before and after photos were incredible and you can feel the love and thoughtfulness that went into designing this space. It was a 10 out of 10 experience to stay here. The beds were so comfy, everything was clean, cabinets were stocked with dishes and utensils and the communication between the hose and myself was kind and detailed. Everything was perfect!

I cannot say enough good things about Joel and his beautiful place. The bathtub was definitely the highlight of our trip. The space is actually much bigger than i thought especially with the Murphy bed up. As for Joel, he was very responsive and great communication overall. I can say without a doubt he’s the best host I’ve ever come across. We are planning to stay again in the future!
