The cottage was beautiful and set in such lovely surroundings, we didn’t want to leave. Charles has thought of everything in terms of what you’d need for a home from home stay. We will definitely come back

What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

Jo was super helpful, very friendly wonderful host. Excellent communication. The facilities were perfect, lovely location, very quiet and private but close to all amenities. The lodge is very tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back.

Cosy little cottage with tasteful decor and a private garden with hot tub which is enclosed and totally private. It’s also a real sun trap in the afternoon. Located just on the outskirts of Scruton but within walking distance of the local pub/restaurant. Wensleydale Steam Railway passes through the village and you can join the train at the village station. The cottage is a real find and only 5 miles away from the beautiful market town of Northallerton and surrounding countryside.

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! We had the most amazing time as two couples. The town and everything you’d need it in walking distance, so many bars and restaurants for a fab weekend. The house was spotless and had a lovely atmosphere, hot tub was brilliant and the outdoor area was lovely for a little drink on a night. Bella even left us some little treats, you made us feel very welcome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% worth it x

We had a lovely stay at Fern Cottage. Location was an ideal base to visit the area and the house was spacious and clean with all amenities available. The welcome basket was a nice touch and the hot tub was ready to go on our arrival. Aftab was a responsive host and provided clear instructions on everything necessary. We were a family group with a dog, and there were great walks nearby and local pub right across the road. We would definitely recommend a stay here and if we plan to come back to the area, would look to stay again.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

Great place, stay was work related but if i would happily return again for a weekend away. Great location and a well presented home.

Great place, equipped with everything you could need. wood provided and firelighters and matches provided for log burner. sheep right outside the decking. set on the back of an equestrian type farm place, nice and quiet. we walked to the white swan, about 15mins, great food. Rail Trail nearby was a nice walk. hot tub was great, press and hold the right hand button to adjust the temp, took us a day to figure that out, and the first button on left adjusts the bubbles. there was individual jams and butters in the fridge, prosecco, crisps and biscuits, tea coffee sugar and 2pints of milk provided. it wasn't immediately obvious how to turn on the towel radiator in the bathroom, but there's a tiny switch on the bottom right. shower was OK did the job, but kinda what you expect from an electric shower. The postcode didn't take us right to the place but if you just keep going along the same road you will get to the gate to the farm. 100% recommend, would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

Absolutely amazing stay! The lodge is beautiful and you have everything you could need and more! The lodge was spotlessly clean! The views were incredible and the hot tub was fantastic! Enjoyed every minute, can’t wait to go back!

We had the most amazing time staying here. The accommodation was lovely and the location is perfect for going on walks. Emma was an amazing host and we had lovely time meeting all the lambs.

From the moment we arrived we totally fell in love - gorgeous views, peaceful location and the hot tub experience was to die for. The place had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable - yes including the beds! Mandy was super friendly and very prompt in her responses - overall 10/10 - do it!

The Niblet is in a beautiful hillside position. Watching the wildlife from the hottub (Rabbits, Red Kite, Lambs, horses) was wonderful creating the was the most relaxing retreat. A great location to explore the North York moors.

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the lodge. The lodge was very cosy, lovely log burner. Private and peaceful location. All amenities provided. Would definitely return.
