I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ruth's Airbnb, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I arrived, Ruth was an incredibly welcoming host, greeting me with warmth and making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space itself was immaculate, festive decorations, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, from a well-stocked kitchen to plush bedding. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat yet close enough to local attractions. Ruth went above and beyond to make sure I had a seamless experience, providing helpful local recommendations and even a personalized welcome booklet. I felt like I was staying in a home away from home. I left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. What an amazing lake house for a weekend retreat. This house was beautiful and had every amenity we could ask for. A beautiful back deck with a fire pit (they provided wood for fires) & a nice clean grill with a propane tank available. The kitchen also had every thing you would need, we cooked a huge meal each night. The two story dock was perfect for lounging and else even were able to bring our boat and keep it tied to the dock for the weekend when we weren’t using it. You can tell the owners of this home really take pride in it. They spared no expense providing the best in this home from the furniture to the ceiling fans & everything in the kitchen. I highly recommend staying here if you want a high quality place to stay on lake Lanier.

Great location for Thanksgiving vacation with family. Beautiful view of Lake Lanier. Lots to do in area, nearby Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Helen, Dahlonega, wineries and mines. Kids enjoyed the foosball table and many board games. Dock was nice place to sit in sun with a glass of wine. House was impeccable inside and very comfortable. Kitchen was well set up. Blackstone griddle on deck next to kitchen was a plus! Melissa is a wonderful host, entry and exit times were flexible, instructions clear, very responsive.

The Mid-Century property in the woods by a lake is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The home is nicely decorated and very clean. The bedrooms are comfortable and have beautiful views of the lake. Mr. Leeland is so awesome! He is very personable and accessible. I'm a repeat guest and look forward to returning.

I had a few special requests based on my stay. Heather not only responded quickly, but she was friendly, accommodating…and did not make me feel as though my requests were an inconvenience to her. Both levels of the home could used primarily for your stay. The driveway may be a bit steep for some, but I live locally, and you can expect this for the area…so it’s not a detractor given that. Heather also explains clearly where to park and there are other options if you don’t want to park directly at the front door. I plan to return as this is a great stay with lake access and access to all the amenities around the area. Thanks again, Heather!

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

Great stay! The home is on a quiet lot surrounded by lots of trees. Fenced in back yard which our dog absolutely loved. The large deck off the side was lovely. Quiet, comfy place, convenient to the expressway and a quick drive to downtown.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I’d need a whole new rating system. From the second we arrived, it was pure peace—quiet, spacious, and almost suspiciously serene. The owners were incredible: so accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming that we briefly considered asking if we could just live there. The lake was ridiculously beautiful, like a postcard you accidentally walked into. We spent time fishing with the poles they provided (very elite behavior) and just soaking up the view. The beds were outrageously comfortable—slept like absolute royalty. Inside, it felt like every tiny detail was curated for max cozy vibes, down to the hilarious and iconic Snoop Dogg cookbook waiting in the kitchen. It was the perfect mix of luxury and homey charm. This was more than just a stay—it was a full reset. Can’t recommend it enough. We’re already plotting our return like weird little lake goblins.

Awesome place and great host. The entire process from booking to check-in to leaving was frictionless and easy. The house is an excellent, super quiet location. Great for a weekend stay, and ample space for people to hang in different areas without being on top of each other.

Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

This is one of the best Airbnb’s my wife, dog, and I have stayed it. The house is beautiful, functional, fun, and well located. Devin was also a terrific host! I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re staying in the Gainesville / Lake Lanier area!

Designer quality everything, well thought out for families, convenient to all things food, activities, etc

Our multi-generational family spent an incredible Easter weekend at Kate’s Place! There were so many activities and amenities for everyone to enjoy! The grandchildren especially enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing off the dock! We even hunted Easter eggs on the beautiful grounds, and enjoyed making s’mores together. The house is very high-end with everything needed for a large group. We loved the comfy beds and there was plenty of room for our group of 10. The most used room was the massive screened patio overlooking the lake! We enjoyed our morning coffee and ate most meals in the beautifully decorated room. The lake cabin is very close to grocery stores and to the town of Blue Ridge, and nearby waterfalls. The host was extremely responsive and always helpful. Our grandchildren are already asking, “When can we go back?” Thanks for helping us make family memories, and we will be back.

We felt right at home at Ellen’s place. This is by far one of the nicest and cleanest places we have stayed at. It is a very nice area and private. The location could not be any better either. We will stay here again when we have another fishing tournament.

It’s a beautiful house on the lake, peaceful beautiful surroundings. Spacious home for the kiddos to run around. Good communication and so glad Tan went out of his way and got our clothes that was left behind. Great location as well. We enjoyed it with our big family .

I CANNOT say enough great things about this rental and host! They have gone above and beyond with extra touches. The place is pristine! We have our 4 adult children with us and had the best weekend. Hiking, kayaking, wineries, night time fires and games! It was just what we needed to rest and recharge! We are already organizing when we can book another weekend! Don’t hesitate to book this!

This was a great place to stay while we were visiting Bouckaert Farm. It was a short drive to the venue and was peaceful and quiet. We also caught a lot of fish on the pond behind the house. We would definitely stay again if we come back for another horse show.

This place worked out perfectly for our large family who all came in from all over the world for our daughter’s wedding. We had plenty of room for all 13 of us to sleep comfortably. Lots of spaces for people to break off and get some quiet time too if needed. Everyone enjoyed the Pac-Man arcade and foosball table too! We didn’t partake of the fishing and kayaks but it was nice that they were available. Each bathroom had extra touches including basic necessities that one might forget.

The house was comfortable for 15ppl. Plenty of space. There was a few glitches, but nothing too major. We should've gotten the pool heated but the sun helped keep us warm. Parking is strict so if you have more than 4 cars, park at the university up the street...it was easy. We had everything we needed.
