A quick 15 minute drive to both UCONN and Eastern, the property is both secluded, but not too far from the beaten path. Close to local bakeries, antiquing, biking and walking trails; you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing time away. You’ll love Our Little Lakehouse.

Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

Walk a 1/2 mile to a lovely meandering waterfall, or walk for miles if you love a good hike. Just 15-min drive to Manchester, Vernon, UCONN Storrs; only 30-min to Hartford, casinos, airports. Telegraph Cottage @ Andover Lake

Enjoy a peaceful retreat at Telegraph Cottage. Named after the Telegraph Cottage enjoyed by President Eisenhower during WWII in England. The cottage was located near a telegraph line, but had limited connections to the outside world - only one telephone. Guests are encouraged to put aside their mobile devices and enjoy quality time with those around them. This may not always be possible, so the cottage has internet and a workspace for those who need to connect.
