We were visiting family nearby and were so pleased with this home. It was quirky and full of character. The secure garden was perfect and everything was so neat and proper. It had excellent facilities and the little touches like coffee, tea and milk were perfect. The fact that dogs are allowed was very welcoming and kind. The only thing was the main road was quite loud but just bring some ear plugs and you’ll be absolutely fine. It’s worth it for this property which has everything you could need in a very beautiful village. We would 100% return if we came back to the area.

Dave is an excellent host. He communicates well, proactively and responds promptly when reached out to. Although we had no issues during our stay, David was readily available has issue arisen. The house is wonderful and exactly as described. The proximity to the Anfield stadium is perfect for a Liverpool soccer match. We appreciated David’s flexibility on check out time to work with our soccer match and travel schedule. The location also offers easy access to the lively Liverpool city center. We highly recommend a stay with David in the Anfield House !

Great stay. Walkable to city centre, v reasonably priced and free parking is always great. Place was nice and clean and ideal for a 2 night stay. Trisha also left us essentials like bread and milk which was really nice and she allowed us to check in early. We had a great stay.

The place was perfect for our stay. We are a group of 7 school friends from all over the UK and USA who get together at different places in England every year. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom which we have never managed before! The place was spotless and in a great location - 10 minutes walk from the train station. We also appreciated the lovely garden as we had the most wonderful weather! Would highly recommend. Thanks for hosting us.

We absolutely loved staying at Lindsey’s place. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged and so homey. We travelled with our 1 year old daughter and honestly it was a dream. There was a high chair, toys to play with, books to read. An enclosed garden with a swing and a slide (a thrilling favourite). Little details like soft carpet on the stairs and around the patio doors and a back door that could be opened at the top but not the bottom so we could get some air but contain the toddler. Everything was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided and easy to find. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks Lindsey!

We had a great stay! The property was nice, clean, and well presented, exactly as described. We really appreciated that the host accepted our booking on short notice—it made things so much easier. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we’d happily stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home , responsive and helpful host . House is fab, clean , tidy and spacious . Great power shower and really comfy beds! Perfect place to stay to visit Liverpool . Local amenities on the door step , restaurants, bars and local supermarket alongside a huge park to explore . Bus ride or ten minute taxi ride to the centre. Highly recommended and will be staying again .

Stayed for 2 nights to visit Liverpool comic Con, ideal location just a quick uber ride into the city, accommodation is the annexe part of a lovely big house with its own entrance and little courtyard, the main room is a good size with a huge comfortable bed, kitchen area and a separate bathroom with a good size shower, smelled amazing and was clean and comfortable. It was lovely accommodation very pretty and well decorated and the host Sian was super responsive and helpful

The flat was gorgeous, lush soft carpets, warm, bright, gorgeous decor and interesting books to peruse. Jane really has her eye in with hospitality and there were cookies and tea, a whole bottle of proper milk and orange juice. Lots of lovely touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is quiet overlooking the Mersey river, which is tidal and turns into a beach in the morning! Its a short walk to the ferry over to Liverpool (if its running) or bus to train /taxi ride over to all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment and we enjoyed the quiet away from the city too. Thank you Jane!

Visiting family in Birkenhead, really lovely place to stay, lovely quiet location, my mum said it’s the best she’s ever slept! Walking distance to Birkenhead park where we got the train across to Liverpool. Spacious, clean apartment with everything we needed, comfy beds, great shower, nice living / kitchen space to hang out as a family. Mike was great at communicating, responded very quickly and gave instructions on how to get into the property with the codes for the lock boxes, and facilities etc. All round a great stay and would come again.

This Airbnb was fantastic! We stayed here as part of a Hen weekend. I let Callum know we were coming and he was more than happy to accommodate us and put me at ease ☺️ The airbnb itself was spotless, and the location was walking distance from concert square and many great food spots. As we stayed here as a group, having keyless entry made organisation so much handier as people could return to the airbnb without the fuss of needing a key or a card. I’d highly recommend this airbnb to anybody, especially a group of girls looking to have a fantastic time away. Thanks again Callum!

Lovely stay at Jonathan’s place. I grew up in the area and was nice to come back and stay again. The flat was spotless, and well furnished with everything you would need for a short stay. Jonathan was super responsive to any queries we had, and was really helpful answering questions. We will definitely be back next time we are staying in the area.

We had a fabulous stay. John was a great host - very relaxed, welcoming and friendly. The apartment really was beautiful- so much space & so beautifully decorated- I loved spending 2 days pretending it was mine! Perfectly located for Lark Lane and very close to the city centre, this is a place I would certainly return to and recommend!

Allan was a lovely host. Made sure everything was perfect for us for checkin. Kept great communication as well throughout the experience. Stay was about 15 mins to anfield, which made this a perfect place to stay for the Liverpool game!

Kara’s place was lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay. -Parking was easy to find along with the lockbox key. -Kitchen was spotless. -Bedroom and bathroom was lovely and clean. -The flat was near some local pubs and restaurants within walking distance which is a lovely option to have. A most beautiful apartment in a very calm area within 20 mins walking into Liverpool centre. When we were shown around it immediately felt like home. A calm oasis in the heart of a brilliant friendly city. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be returning.

Comfortable apartment in a great location - 5 minutes from beach and seafront with plenty of restaurants (downhill - not a problem for us but east to drive and park if necessary.) . Really appreciated the thought that had gone into making guests’ stays special with lots of thoughtful extras, including fantastic welcome hamper. Thank you! Much appreciated after a long drive on a bank holiday. Very comfortable beds- had a great night’s sleep; appreciated the music themed decor! Will definitely visit again.

Lovely spacious apartment and friendly, flexible host. Only issues were that bed side lights in both bedrooms would have been great (although we did manage with the extension plugs we found) and one of the lamps was very very dusty. It’s a basement flat so smelled a wee bit damp on entry but such a lovely, stylish space and great for a weekend visiting Sefton park. We also really appreciated the flexibility on check out and easy parking.

This is a return visit for us - as always, Nicola is really responsive and helpful, flexible and thoughtful. The property is perfect for our needs, clean, well-stocked and well located. A comfortable bed (we've only tried one of the two!) in a nice and spacious flat.

Location can’t be beaten - surrounded by restaurants and and bars, city shops no more than 200met away and equal distance to Lime Street station and the Docks - perfect. To top it off the unit is spotless and super comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen (not that we used it much). Ensuite bathroom a little compact but it works. Would absolutely stay again.

Spent an excellent couple of days with my 2 young children. The space was perfect for our needs. Beds comfortable and clean. The apartment was perfectly located within easy reach of central Liverpool’s fabulous museums, shops and restaurants. Natalie was a great host and communication throughout could not have been better. I’m sure we’ll be back!
