Evgenios and Maria are the best hosts we have ever met! They are so kind and thoughtful. Evgenios arranged for us to be collected from and taken back to the ferry port. They greeted us warmly and kindly brought us delicious home-cooked treats. The apartment is spacious, tasteful and very well appointed, it is also spotlessly clean and well equipped. The views from the spacious terrace down to the port and the beach and up to Chora, the windmills and the castle are spectacular. We cannot fault this place at all and plan to return. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending this apartment.

Aquest apartament és totalment recomanable tant per 2 o 3 persones. La Popi és una amfitriona excel·lent, sempre disposada a ajudar-te i fa uns esmorzars fantàstics. Sense cap dubte, tornaríem a venir i és una molt bona opció per gaudir de l'illa!

Οι φωτογραφίες απολυτως αντικειμενικές , ο χώρος υπέροχος , καθαρός και όμορφα διακοσμημένος ,η θέα εξαιρετική , το σημείο κεντρικό για πρόσβαση με τα πόδια στο λιμάνι και τη Χώρα & ο Γιώργος χαμογελαστός με τις καλύτερες προτάσεις και πάντα διαθέσιμος , πραγματικά σε ευχαριστούμε !

We had an amazing stay at this charming house in the heart of the island. Near the castle, restaurants and bars, it is very peaceful and relaxing inside. The house is beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. We felt very lucky to stay here! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you very much.

Wonderful house with breathtaking view of the sea. The real treat of Peggy's House is that down a stone path through Peggy's lovely garden is a beautiful beach with trees for shade and great swimming. Most days its yours (& Peggy's). The house is well stocked with pots, plates, etc. Peggy even left some homemade strawberry jam in the refrigerator and the market is a five minute walk away. We may have been the first visitors of the season so the house needed a day of airing out the rooms. All in all Peggy was helpful and welcoming - a consummate host! Astypalaia is a arid island of rocky beaches, roaming goats, and lots of bees (tasty thyme honey abounds). Its worth renting a car to visit the more remote beaches. Great dining in Livadi and Astapalea, the latter has some great bars too. Folks are very friendly. Its an island that is both rustic and in many ways quite cosmopolitan. Much to love and do here. Would happily return to Astypalaia and would stay again at Peggy's lovely home.
