Tiny Barn

The Tiny barn is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous walks from the working dairy and sheep farm - it is just the ground floor and has a small double bed with access to one side, sofa bed, small shower room and kitchenette. It has a dedicated Airband satellite hub for WiFi and is generally very good. It’s a very old building right in the middle of our farm near the cow sheds so expect lots of cows, tractors, farm smells and farmers! Guests can park just outside the tiny barn.

There are multiple car parks within a few minutes walk. There is an outdoor secure storage area, perfect for bikes. It’s an ideal location for exploring fabulous Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.

Accommodation comprises a kitchen (w. slimline dishwasher), open plan sitting/dining area with log burner, bedroom (King Size bed), shower room and downstairs loo. The Old Stables is a stylishly-converted private, en suite room with its own sitting area and balcony in a peaceful, unique location on the river - a few minutes walk from the train station and the centre of historic Shrewsbury. We have free gated parking for up to two cars and secure bike storage. Our favourite walk is along The River Severn path to the English Bridge, up Wyle Cop with its amazing array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. A little further is the lovely Quarry Park

Nearby there is a local shop, pubs and restaurants and the bus stops outside the house.

Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
