Das Haus von José hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist perfekt: sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Küste, das Meer und einen Teil des Dorfes, das selbst sehr malerisch und sympathisch ist mit seinem minimercado. Die Inneneinrichtung des Hauses ist sehr schön und praktisch, alles was es braucht ist vorhanden (sogar ein Holzofen und ein Luftentfeuchter, beides sehr willkommen im Winter). Auf dem Tisch warteten frisches Brot, Käse und Marmelade sowie eine Flasche Wein auf uns. Vielen Dank Vânia! Wir entschieden uns spontan unseren Aufenthalt zu verlängern, was problemlos und unkompliziert war. Das hat uns sehr geholfen. Vielen Dank ! wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen...

This place is absolutely wonderful and magical. Tucked away in gorgeous garden environment. The 'cabin' was quaint and comfortable during the downtime we needed between all of the amazing things to do in and around Furnas. We loved our breakfast and the hot tub/Turkish spa was a treat. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about our stay at Fabiola and Antonio’s home. It was simply gorgeous and a welcome place to relax and recharge. There is a natural swimming pool 5 mins walk down the road, a great restaurant in town as well as fruit and necessities markets and everything on the island was a short drive away. We couldn’t have been more thrilled to be there!

I have stayed in both of Neil's accommodations, it's always a sure value. For this one, the garden is great!

This was a great stay, but definitely listen to the other comments about humidity, everything is a little damp. The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen is small but does the trick, and the floors are a bit funky under foot.

This location was great for exploring the island. The unit was clean and comfortable. All the amenities we needed for our stay. Rui had a guidebook with lots of recommendations for the island. Overall a great stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location. L’hôte est très gentil, réactif et pleins de petites attentions. Le logement est très propre et moderne. La localisation est top pour pouvoir découvrir le centre de l’île et les environs. Merci beaucoup !

A beautiful place to stay on Pico and good location, it was really nice to be able to walk to the little bakery and a grocery store. If you are whale watching out of Lajes do Pico, the location is perfect. A great view of Mt Pico from the upstairs bedroom. Tania was really kind and responsive. The garden is very peaceful and cats are really sweet! The pathway to get to the cottages is a little narrow and bumpy, so if you are able to bring a duffle rather than a roller bag, you will probably have an easier time. I made it work with the roller bag, but it’s a bit tricky. Overall a very nice place to stay on Pico!

I loved my time at this cozy coastal tiny home. I was greeted by Andreia who gave me a personal tour of the grounds and provided good instructions using a translation app. She was absolutely delightful and even surprised me with a homemade birthday cake and sang happy birthday in Portuguese! Breakfast was delivered promptly each morning, and was prepared to order based on my preferences. I loved the convenience to so many natural wonders, including the ocean just a short walk through the garden. Although the weather wasn’t great during my stay, there was plenty to do see in the area. I highly recommend Entre Muros and hope to return again.

I had an incredible time at Gigi house! From the moment I arrived, Gigi was super welcoming and made me feel right at home. The place was even better than the pictures – the sunsets need to be lived, it was perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring, and the had everything we needed. The pool and the sauna are TOP! The place was spotless and super comfy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and I loved the little touches like the welcome basket. All in all, I can’t wait to come back!

El apartamento nos ha encantado!! Hemos pasado 5 dias en Sao Miguel y nos ha permitido estar comodos y disfrutar de la isla de una manera excelente. Todos los servicios que ofrece el apartamento dan lugar a poder adaptarse segun la situacion del dia. Perfecto para una pareja! Las vistas increibles!!

We stayed a week here and felt right at home in this beautiful place. We enjoyed the garden very much. Such a nice location, off the beaten track! We will definitely come back.

Mafalda’s place is such a wonderful and unique stay. The converted windmill is so well equipped and the space utilized perfectly. The view from the property is beautiful, and having a morning coffee on the deck with sea views ans birds chirping was such a great start to our day! The property is in a great location for a quick drive or a walk to the waterfront, restaurants and the natural swimming area. Mafalda is a very thoughtful and most caring host. She made sure to check in to see that we were able to find and get into the place okay and even left a lovely welcome basket. Mafalda also sent recommendations of things to do around the island and place to eat and how far away they were, which was very helpful! Thank you Mafalda!

We stayed here for 10 days with our toddler and everything was perfect. The location is great and makes the entire island very accessible within max one hour drive. Grocery stores and amenities are very close by. There was private parking in the driveway for us and the entire place was so well thought out...nothing was missing. Communication and instructions were simple and clear. The location, home and backyard are perfect - especially for families.

If you can find this available please book it! This was the best find! The location is perfect quiet - beautiful- and centrally located to basically anywhere you want to go on the island. The hosts are amazing! So nice, thoughtful treats, and just the most welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. My husband and I joked that it was a mini resort - honestly it’s gorgeous. My only regret - we didn’t stay there longer.

We verbleven twee nachten in de Black Cabin van Villa Varzea en kijken terug op een sfeervol en goed verzorgd verblijf. De cabin is tot in de puntjes uitgerust: alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, en het team staat klaar om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. We werden regelmatig gecheckt of we nog iets nodig hadden, dat konden we waarderen. Het weer zat ons helaas niet mee: door de stevige wind was de jacuzzi – hoewel heerlijk opgewarmd bij aankomst – moeilijk bruikbaar. De wind maakte het buiten zitten wat onaangenaam, wat natuurlijk jammer was, aangezien de jacuzzi net één van de troeven is van dit verblijf. Gelukkig maakte de projector in de slaapkamer veel goed. Dankzij deze toevoeging genoten we van een echt home-cinema gevoel, wat perfect paste bij de stormachtige avonden. Kortom: een bijzonder fijn verblijf op een prachtige locatie. Wij raden het zeker aan – en kunnen ons voorstellen dat deze plek in de zonnige zomermaanden nog beter tot zijn recht komt.

It was one of the best airbnb where we had ever stayed. The house itself was perfect for 2persons. We loved the fully equipped. All the stuffs are in perfect condition. We could prepared perfect dinners here. It was a big pus point that olive oil, balsamic vinegrate, and some basic spicies were left for us. The house was clean, and location was so secluded and peaceful. We are sure we shall come back to Pico island and we shall stay here next time again.

I really loved this spot. It felt private even thought there other spaces on the property. The surroundings were gorgeous and the hosts were incredibly responsive. I was solo for my visit but felt totally safe. There was plenty of parking but it’s a little tight. So long as you are careful and take it slow, it should be fine. In general, this are is gorgeous but can be a little challenging if you aren’t used to the terrain. I had breakfast one morning which was lovely. Enough for me for two days. The tub outside was gorgeous but as others had said it was hard to get it truly hot in the cool temperatures I had. I tried heating water but it still didn’t work and was more effort than it was worth. Still the space was great and comfy enough for me. The bed leaned firm in case that matters to you.

What a cool place to stay in. I’ve always wanted to stay on a little boat and this was the perfect opportunity for a great price. You’re close to everything in the downtown area and it’s really great to be able to go on top of the boat and watch the sun set. I was greeted by Sandra who was able to help me out with anything I needed. The only thing I would mention is maybe having clear directions about how parking works in the underground parking lot. But that’s about it. It was a great day and I would definitely do it again.
