Gorgeous house, easy walk to everything. Quality linens and towels, spotless. Would love to stay again especially in warmer weather so we can make the most of the pool.

It was an amazing experience. The owner Marry was lovely, kind and very helpful. It’s a calm and peaceful environment with a gorgeous view specially when the sun is setting. Also you can see the birds and some wild animals from far. If you like a bit of camping vibe it’s perfect with a bon fire and a little bbq. Very private and very tidy. It’s cozy but great for a couple or two people. You can find all the kitchen equipment, aircon and all the modern household items in there.

Would absolutely recommend booking this home, we loved our time here. It is furnished beautifully, and incredibly well stocked with everything you will need for your stay. It is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. Ps, the shower is incredible. Best water pressure and shower head!

We had such a lovely stay at Hazel House. The home is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The lounge was especially cosy—I spent hours happily reading my book there—and the outdoor BBQ area was a great bonus that we made good use of. Sarah was a fantastic host—super responsive, friendly, and gave us all the detail we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is also spot on, just a short drive to Lake Wendouree. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

We had a fantastic stay in this cottage which was cozy and exactly as described in the listing. While the driveway is narrow, it’s fine to park in and is the better option than having your car out the front on a busy road. On this, there is quite a lot of traffic that goes past so if you are a light sleeper, I suggest white noise or ear plugs - was fine by us who live in a busy area! Overall it was a great weekend accommodation option.

My husband, daughter, son in law, grandson and myself, spent four lovely days over Easter 2025, at Botanica. What a beautiful, well maintained, comfortable and peaceful home and setting. We felt at home straight away. Everything for a seamless stay is in the house. Warm and comfortable beds, pristine kitchen with everything you would ever need, two well appointed bathrooms and an incredibly private back garden. Botanica is well positioned! Close to Lake Wendouree, exciting adventure playgrounds for my grandson and a short hop into Ballarat town, restaurants and cafes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Botanica for your next stay in Ballarat.

We had an excellent stay at Tom’s place, and would stay again when in Ballarat. Excellent communication and everything required for a very comfortable stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home and relaxed. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the chocolates on arrival was a sweet touch! Narelle was friendly and replied to us promptly. Our first impression when we walked through this place was clean, bright and beautiful as shown in the pics! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends! Just beautiful! :)

I could not recommend James’ place more highly. The location is incredible, a little slice of pristine nature - so close to Melbourne but feels like you are hours from civilisation. The house and the camping areas were even better than we had expected. Thanks James

We had a beautiful stay at the A frame. Stunning inside and set amongst giant trees plus walking distance to the lake. Our last day was rainy so we gathered around the fire and the fondue set and put a record on! Great memories! The second bedroom is possibly best for small children.

Kerry is a very warm and welcoming host. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely surrounds and not too far from all the attractions in Ballarat. We'll definitely be back.

This was a great place to go on a solo trip as it felt private enough but still safe, knowing that the main house was close. The place was exactly like the pictures and had all that you needed for a few night staycation. Carla was a great host she was very communicative, friendly and gave very clear instructions. I loved the booklet full of information and pamphlets, it gave me ideas of what to do and see in the area. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting the area. Thanks Carla!

We loved our weekend getaway at the Daylesford Bush Retreat! The house was neat and clean with everything you need to relax. Really nice bathroom too, which is important to us 😉. Untouched bushland all around to explore and only 8 min drive into town make this a place we’ll come back to, thanks!

Dimity's cabins were a beautiful peaceful base for a weekend away for our friends' wedding. The outdoor and natural setting was just what we needed to unwind and slow down, especially since the weather was so clear! It is also a perfect setting for some focussed work time, which we will be back for I'm sure. The bathroom, bedroom and sitting rooms are each in separate cabins so make sure you bring warmer gear in colder months! Dimity was a responsive, thoughtful and generous host - we had everything we needed on arrival. The wine, snacks and milk were a lovely thoughtful touch. We would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely secluded place in beautiful Bushland. There are lots of nice hikes around in the national park close by. The house was beautiful and comfortable and we had a great time walking and relaxing by the fire. Lots of beautiful birds and kangaroos. Thank you :)

What a beautiful, peaceful cabin to spend some solitude in. My friend and I loved the peacefulness, the verandah and the closeness to many towns. Check in instructions were clear and felt very comfortable for our stay. Thankyou!
