Unfortunately due to the weather (heavy snow) we were unable to stay at Kathy’s cottage. However, she honoured our agreement of a refund in the event that travel was impossible, and for that she gets five stars.

Our stay at Mike’s cabin was fantastic, 11/10. The location was perfect for getting away from the city and getting a good taste of nature. My favorite part was listening to the loons sing in the distance while relaxing in the hot tub at night. Taking a hot shower in the outdoor shower in the brisk mornings was a dream. Very thoughtful amenities and an overall great experience with Mike. We look forward to coming back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything one might need—from small essentials to those little touches that really make a difference. You can tell a lot of care went into making the space comfortable and convenient. Whether it was the extra toiletries, kitchen basics, or even just how organized everything was, every detail was well thought out. Moreover they were very responsive over messages throughout our stay. Also its right by the water and so peaceful.

This is a great place! Very clean, warm and inviting. It had everything you could need. Cheyene was very friendly and quick to respond. The backyard was nice and spacious and the fire pit and hot tub were perfect in making our getaway enjoyable and relaxing!

Jo’s lakefront cottage is a true retreat! The charming, tidy space boasts breathtaking lake views and easy water access—ideal for a tranquil escape. Jo is an attentive, friendly host, providing everything from cozy linens to great local recommendations. Waking up to the vibrant sunrise over the lake is pure magic. Absolutely a must-stay!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cottage for the weekend! It was beautifully decorated, super clean, and had everything we needed. The peaceful location was perfect for relaxing, yet close to nearby attractions. Our host was thoughtful and communicative, making sure we had a great experience. We can’t wait to return!

Stepping stones cottage is cute and cozy and the location was fantastic. The views are incredible, it feels private and it's close enough to both town and outdoor recreation. Marie was a great host. My only note is a heads up for future tall guests ...the shower stall is small and the toilet is low.

Anthony’s place was the perfect spot for a nice weekend! We really enjoy having a relaxing fire in the backyard with plenty of wood. We would definitely consider staying here in the future!

A great rustic get away. Just be mindful of the garbage you bring as you will need to deal with it at the end of your stay. The view is very pretty in the mornings 🌅 My husband and I got a lot of use out of the firepit and enjoyed being surrounded by the forest! Location is convenient to visit tobermory, Lions Head and Devil Monument!

The cottage looked like the photos, was super clean and very comfy. We loved all the different outdoor seating options. There was a bird feeder in the tree and we enjoyed watching the blue jays and gackles. The beach was about a 10 minute walk. We forgot our marshmallow skewers, but they had some. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again.

We really loved our stay here. We have a 6 and 2 year old and this cottage was the perfect size for the 4 of us. I like that it’s all one level, and floors are a clean hardwood. The road in front of the cottage is so quiet and feels private. A great place to kick the ball around and jump in puddles. Hot tub and games room made this place extra special. Would love to come visit in the summer, and enjoy the beach type amenities that are just a short walk away.

Enjoyed our winter get away! Driveway was clear and there was a big hill of snow the kids loved. Place was the right size for our family of 4. Loved that it was clean and no pet hair (we always take note). Everything was ready and available - split wood, sleds, snowshoes, coffee, etc. Toys and games inside so we didn't need to bring a bunch of things for the kids. Dress for the weather and enjoy some quiet!

Great experience. Jeff was proactive and made sure we are all comfortable during the bad weather. The location is perfect and lots to do around. Absolutely loved the stay and a great get away. Looking forward to visit during the summer.

We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed! We had lots of snow during our visit, and loved getting to enjoy the peaceful and private property. We even dug out the campfire pit for a winter fire! Even with all the snow, we were warm and comfortable, with the portable heater coming in handy to warm up after trekking through the snow! Jaclyn was so thoughtful and helpful as a host! We were very well taken care of! I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, peaceful, and cozy getaway surrounded by nature!

Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend at Carol's property. The cabin was cozy and charming, the bunkie was super cute and the deck and fire pit were amazing spots to hang out at. It's a short walk to the water and a convenience store/lcbo. Our only issue was that we didn't stay long enough!

My sister and I had a wonderful week! The cabin is clean, well-appointed and surprisingly close to the beach. Labour Day Weekend was busy but everyone was friendly and respectful, and everyone abided by the the 11pm quiet rule. This cabin is ideally located. It is a 20 minute walk / 5 minute drive to the Sauble Beach strip and the town of Sauble Beach is a great take-off point for a wide variety of day trips, shops and restaurants in Southhampton, Port Elgin, Owen Sound, Tobermory. The sunsets and the gorgeous blue-green water will knock you out. If you have any beach-bum in you, this is the place for you.

My wife and I had a beautiful, peaceful weekend. Fere is a delightful host and the property is gorgeous. Close enough to Orangeville but a silent oasis. Thanks again!

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. Matt is great to deal with. The cottage was awesome and Dave the neighbour is super helpful and nice. Don’t be scared of river crossing it was smooth and seamless and made everything even more fun. Matt is a good guy and helpful with anything that comes up. The property is full of hiking trails and has awesome water access, great fishing, beautiful spot for a coffee in the morning. The deck is perfect for watching the sunset and the screen room is a great getaway if a little rain rolls through. All in all I’m extremely pleased with my stay in all aspects. Highly recommend.
