Our stay was fantastic! we were looking for a peaceful weekend away and this checked all the boxes. wood stove and sauna were ready to go and made the snowy evening perfect. kitchen was well appointed and had a wonderful view.

Large, very private spot close to many activities. Responsive hostess made us very comfortable.

We had a great time and the views were amazing!

This was a beautiful home to stay in. Sarah was quick to answer questions and provided helpful recommendations on nearby places to XC ski. The home is charming, nicely designed and decorated and immediately feels like home. There are two spacious and inviting common spaces that are great for visiting and hanging out. The place is also really easy to get to yet still feels out of the way and private. I am looking forward to possibly booking a summer stay.

The retreat on the lake was a beautiful place to spend a few days. We were there in the winter, and it was a nice cozy atmosphere to be in. The lake is beautiful, and there are beautiful walking trails in the neighborhood. There is a nice little community beach which would be great in the summer. Ashley was a very helpful and responsive host. Thank you!

We have stayed at this lovely Airbnb several times now and it is wonderful. We especially love the EV charger on-site, that they allow our dog to come with us, and that it is quiet and spacious and close to town. Adam & Casey are excellent, responsive hosts!

Es ist eine super Unterkunft die in einer schönen Naturlandschaft liegt. Abseits der großen Straße und nicht weit entfernt vom Birkebeiner Trail. Die Unterkunft war groß, sauber, gemütlich und gut eingerichtet sowie die Küche gut ausgestattet. Amande war bei Rückfragen schnell erreichbar. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft nur absolut weiter empfehlen.

Suzie’s condo was clean. We felt right at home and comfortable. The condo was beautifully decorated. It was close to a lot of restaurants and in walking distance. We would definitely stay at her place again.

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had such an incredible weekend on Madeline Island. We were in town for a wedding and Viv’s place was absolutely perfect for our family. Her place was incredibly clean and very cozy. We felt right at home! We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous nature around her home. We also appreciated how close we were to downtown. It’s incredibly apparent how much care Viv takes to ensure her guests comfort. She even left a dog treat for our dog. We can’t say enough great things. We would love to come back some day!
