Location was great! Beautiful river in the back and it’s a great place to stay to get away for a while.

Austin's place is in a great location that is easy to find. While being in the middle of everything you still felt like you had your own little sanctuary. I would absolutely stay there again!

We stayed at Irene’s beautiful home over the long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The house comfortably hosted our group of 7, and every corner of the property was thoughtfully maintained and inviting. The games room downstairs (pool table, air hockey, table tennis and many more) was a huge hit — packed with amenities and a great place to unwind together. The location itself is incredibly scenic, with a peaceful river flowing nearby and the occasional coal train passing behind the house adding a unique touch to the atmosphere. It was the perfect mix of tranquility and character. Whether you’re heading to New River Gorge or just want a serene getaway, this place is absolutely worth every penny. Very responsive host. Property and amenities were as described. The host had many additional things in the kitchen /bathroom that made our stay more enjoyable (make up removers, Cotton balls, spices, etc.) We were able to do a bunch of laundry which was huge for a family with kids. Overall, we had a nice stay and the location was fantastic.

This home was perfect for our family’s overnight stay. We felt right at home as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The home is well laid out, well stocked with all sorts of extras that are always so handy to have staying in an Airbnb. Home was very clean, comfortable, the beds were nice!! Fenced yard was awesome for our dogs they absolutely loved it!! So did we knowing they were safe! Summersville is a cute place and I wish we had another night to spend there. Would definitely recommend and also would come back to Jessica’s!!

The cabin was very clean and comfortably fit the four of us! I was pleasantly surprised when showing up because it was much nicer than the pics showed! We will be back and are super thankful for the memory my family has of our time there!

My husband and I along with our two dogs had a delightful stay at Sasquatch Retreat. Aside from the unique and charming decor, it was beautifully located for our trip to New River Gorge National Park. Having a fenced in yard and dog friendly facilities made this a perfect choice for us. The welcome guide was super helpful with suggestions for local eateries and activities. Our hosts were wonderfully responsive to our questions. Thanks again, Andrew and Kasey for a great stay!

We had a great stay on our first trip to New River Gorge. We loved the serenity of the area and the hot tub. We cooked multiple meals in the well-appointed kitchen, and good restaurants and breweries were a short drive away. Kim left us some goodies which was very gracious. The bed was comfortable and the space was perfect. The location was great - a quick drive to the bridge, hiking, and Fayetteville. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to NRG.

Margaret was a fabulous host. Looks like the pictures but also has so many unique curated design. She was extremely accommodating, and friendly. Though we found a pet sitter last minute- Being pet friendly was such a bonus. As we usually bring our small dog for hikes and visiting. You can truly feel the intention and heart that goes into her space. Not only does she have an eye for art. But when inquired, she shared they were a local artist. I love how she clearly supports her local community. And recommended some local cafes, and coffee shop. The overall feel was she is a very thoughtful and intentional host. Highly recommend her space!
