Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Beloved Chateau (with Hot Tub)

The Beloved Chateau is a guest suite in a character house in Adamstown. You will relax in a hot tub, enjoy a comfortable bed with a newly renovated, modern bathroom. The tv is a 55 inch TV with access to your personal streaming accounts. Whether you like to hike, shop for antiques in town, or enjoy a restful evening in, it is perfect for couples searching for a restful overnight stay. The room is fully independent from the rest of our house. It has a private entrance with NO shared space.

The Cottage on the Farm

Come enjoy the country and farm life! Our little cottage is a late 1800s spring house with beautiful views of pastures and sunrises. Located next to Heidelburg Country Club, Koziar’s Christmas Village, Blue Marsh Outdoors and Plum Creek Creamery. Whether you’re here summer or winter there’s something to enjoy! This is the original "tiny house." Built in 1766, the Millhaus sits on a 32-acre historic site with the Knauer Mill, Horseshoe Trail, and French Creek. Seven miles from Hawk Mountain, and 3 miles from hiking (including the Appalachian Trail), biking, and the historic borough of Hamburg. Although rural, it is close to grocery shopping and restaurants. Enjoy pure comfort in our solar and geothermal heated and cooled modern house. There is possible additional sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room.

Tucked into the woods of the Texter Mountain, our little home is a custom built modern getaway. Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat.
