Walking trails surround your cabin. Outside there’s a fire pit and a quick path to the water. Maybelle's kitchen has all the cooking essentials and there's a small propane grill outside & the fire pit for cooking. Cell reception is okay in the cabin, wifi is from a Starlink booster! & Window A/C

Our cozy cottage is the perfect romantic getaway or quiet retreat in any season. Located on a private rd with scenic waterfront view. Guests can enjoy sitting on the dock (May- October) or the jetty, watch the eagles and Osprey, use our kayaks, do some fishing, walking or biking. Sit by the propane fueled fireplace on a chilly night. Brunswick, home of Bowdoin College and a # of great restaurants and unique shops is just 5 mi. Travel by bus or train to/from Boston. Portland is @ 30 min away.

Wild Acres Yurt on 36 acres.

This 20' yurt sits in a private location on our 36 acre hobby farm. We border the 800 acre Kelly Wildlife Sanctuary with trails and a 300 acre pond. The yurt has power, cold running h20, A/C, induction cook top, fridge, micro, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery and silverware. It contains a queen sized bed, full sized futon, air mattress, table/chairs, and wood stove. There is an outdoor shower with hot h20 and the restroom is an outdoor privy. There is a fire pit with seating.

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Enjoy our farmer's porch or walks to the shore deck to look out over the water and enjoy a sunset or go the shore for a swim in summer. Short distance to Brunswick and Bowdoin College, local restaurants. The host also teaches porcelain doll making. You could learn to make porcelain dolls while enjoying the Maine coast.
