We really enjoyed our stay in Lancaster. We could easily walk into the town centre in a few minutes and it was close to the station for our friends travelling by train. The house was very comfortable and roomy. Tom the host was very responsive to our queries. The area was quite and although there was no designated parking, we found it easy to park on the street and were provided with permits. It was a great base for us to attend a friend's party and explore the local area. Compared to staying in a B&B or hotel it was great value and gave us our own space to relax.

Absolutely loved my stay; I’ve been coming to the Lakes for over 20 years and this place is the ultimate cosy retreat, just what you want to come back to after a long day out walking. The property has everything you need and is very dog friendly; I always come armed with blankets and towels but it makes it so much easier not having to worry about carpets and the coat stand came in very handy for drying things. The location is great; I arrived much later than planned in the dark and found it no problem. It feels very peaceful and private but Windermere high street is within walking distance. I will definitely be back again, thank you for a great stay!

This is an incredible, beautiful, peaceful location with lovely walks on the River Wyre just a ten minute stroll down the lane. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained and in a picturesque location. There are restaurants a short drive away, and the renowned Booths supermarket in the Lancashire market town of Garstang is an easy 3 miles drive from the property. Lancaster, with its great selection of independent shops and compelling history, is just 7 miles away. With easy access to the M6, what more can I say? Highly recommended!!

Really lovely place to stay, felt really comfortable and lots of space. great garden for our dog and daughter to enjoy.

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. The house was clean and well stocked! Keswick is walkable which was great for us. Lots of tips given prior to check in.

The pictures do not do this location the justice it deserves! Perfect house for 8 of us to celebrate three 50th Birthdays. A short walk into Bowness with lots to see and do, if walking though be mindful there are some inclines back up! The hot tub view was amazing and an added bonus to this house. Simon was a very attentive host, answered very quick to any queries in the lead up and also during our stay. All in all a fab long weekend, great house and location. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing weekend stay! Luan went above and beyond to make our weekend special for our parents 60th’s, providing us with fizz and balloons. The place was beautiful and every room smelt divine with the Jo Malone diffusers! Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you Luan x

The place worth every penny! The host are so friendly, will advise walks or where to go if you first time in area. Property incredibly clean and has everything needed to feel like at home. Rural location with very easy access and the scenery around is absolutely stunning. We will definitely come back without doubt because everything felt perfect during our stay and the friendliness of the host makes you feel very welcome.

This is a charming apartment, in a wonderful location right in the heart of the town. Ideal for the 4 of us. Also having a parking permit for local car parking is a great bonus for this property.

Keswick is a beautiful base for visiting the Lakes District and this apartment is in a great location in Keswick. Easy to walk into the centre of town for dinner or groceries. The apartment had lots of good books about nearby walking and the gas fire was a lovely addition. Unexpectedly spacious flat with well equipped kitchen.

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

Great host! Amazing place and great view. We needed a private, relaxing getaway and this place was just right. We enjoyed the local attractions and loved every bit of the place. House was neat and Dave was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!

Lovely apartment for 4 in a great location. Lori was responsive to any messages and check in easy & straightforward. Warm, clean and nice touches like a pint of milk left for us in the fridge as we arrived late, shampoo, shower gel, handwash, good hairdryer. Cooker easy to use and enough utensils/pans to cook a meal if you wish. Comfortable beds, lovely bath plus a cute balcony to sit out in warmer months. We slept well, nice and quiet but also only 5 minute walk to town centre. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend as a base to explore the Lake District, thank you Lori 😊

Lovely ground floor apartment, in very easy walking distance to the centre of Keswick. On road parking was free of charge, and we had no problems parking close to the house. Nice & clean - had no issues or problems at all.

We had a really lovely stay at Simon and Cath’s place, for a week with our kids. The place was ideal - easy to find, and walkable to the town centre. The accommodation was well laid out and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Our hosts were extremely helpful, with local tips and advice. Thank you for a great stay! Family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids) just got back from 2 nights at Tom's simply stunning apartment. The photos don't quite do it justice for it's size with fantastic views, luxury touches & sun terrace with views of the front/sea. Tom was fantastic throughout our stay, arranged our luggage to be able to get dropped at Briggs early & messaged to give us a well received late check out!! We spent our time visiting the lake district, morcambe sea front & happy mount park. We ate in the cafe downstairs (Ritas) the market & ordered takeaways in the evening sitting around the well appointed dining table/island. Evenings spent relaxing on the HUGE comfortable sofas watch a movie on the HUGE tv. Have to say: the beds were so comfortable, the apartment so quiet in the evening we had the best night's sleep. Thankyou Tom & Tina .... your Airbnb in stunning & we will definitely return in the future.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is finished to a high standard. You can hear a small bit of noise from the other apartment, but nothing that bothered us. It’s right by the river with a small balcony to sit on. It’s well located with around a 20 min drive to Windermere. Sophie and Mark were very responsive on messages.

The Parsonage is just perfect, a really lovely apartment, fantastically equipped with all you need and more, with lovely touches like the roll top bath in the bedroom and the private courtyard that opens out off the bedroom, safe and secure for our dog. The Parsonage is ideally located right next door to Kendal Castle, great walks and beautiful views of Kendal. It’s also just a 10 minute walk into Kendal with plenty of cafes and restaurants serving delicious food and dog friendly too. Patrina is a wonderful host, the special treats left in the fridge were very kind and appreciated, her advice to jump on the bus to Rydal Water and have lunch at the Badger Bar made for the best day out with our dog. It all made for a perfect stay and we’ll definitely be back.

A beautifully furnished apartment, immaculately clean and in a lovely location. Great to sit on the Balcony in the evening sun. Glynn was an excellent host making us very welcome & assisting us with the bike storage. We enjoyed cycling and walking in the very picturesque local areas. The steam train is a short walk away and is a great ride linked with the boat trip to Bowness. The Motor Museum is well worth a visit and food in the cafe is excellent, nice to sit in the peaceful surroundings at the side of the river. This is by far the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in and I would certainly recommend!!

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

This is a charming old place with the character and essentials as if someone still lives there. Very, very clean and tidy. It is set in a beautiful outerskirts area of Bowness with only a short walk to the busy centre. This will suit someone who wants a very peaceful and quiet getaway in a stunning location yet close to the township as an option.

What a gem of a place! We just needed a place to stay before an event at RSBP Leighton Moss (10min v. scenic drive) that required an early morning. Located right in the middle of Carnforth - about 5-10min walk from train station - and round corner from supermarket. Parking is on-street, we managed to get a space but could see some potential issues (nothing the owners can do - just modern life). We were so impressed with this little place, can't believe how much useful stuff the owners managed to get into the property without it feeling cluttered - microwave (with useful microwavable containers), kettle/toaster, an airfryer(!), fridge, coffee machine and more. And not to mention the "care package" - cereals and breakfast items, milk and OJ, tinned goods, sweet treats, crisps and fruit, plus the usual tea, coffee etc., and every type of toiletries you could ask for. Bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and clean with a lovely walk-in shower. Would stay again if in the area

We were only staying for one night to attend a family celebration. Communication with Roy was easy from the start. The property was great for a mixed group of 6 adults, 1 nine months old baby and a dog. It was warm, clean and roomy. Thank you very much.
