Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Cottage, das alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Die Ausstattung der Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Räume sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Heizung funktioniert super. Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegend fahren, ist dieses Cottage unsere erste Wahl. Ein kleiner Hinweis für die Anreise: Google Maps gibt als Nr. 11 das Haus an, das aber die Nr 10 hat; also einfach ein Haus weiterfahren.

This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Better even than the photos. It was very cosy and peaceful, with amazing views over the loch from virtually every window. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy and there is an amazing sound system. Next time we are coming to Skye I will definitely book here again. Thanks Juliet for the lovely stay.

Alistar was a great host with lots of great recommendations. His cottage is surrounded by breathtaking sites, it is warm and cozy and undeniably Scottish. His cottage is a great way to truly experience the Isle of Skye.

We had a lovely stay in The Barn. Set in a peaceful neighbourhood, it was a short walk to the local shops and a private beach, and a nice location from which to explore Stornoway. The house was very cozy, with comfortable beds, and great shower water pressure—much appreciated after windy beach walks. Kathryn was a fantastic host, and went above and beyond to help us very jet lagged folks arrive and settle in. Thanks, Kathryn, for sharing your place with us!

We had a fantastic stay at Maggie and Seumas' house in Portree. The house is quiet, cosy and comfortable with the most amazing view out over the harbour. We spent quite a bit of time just looking at the view from the house and garden, including watching the seals. A walkable distance into the centre of Portree, the house is well situated for touring all the sights of Skye. The house had everything we needed for a week long stay as a family of 4. Skye is unbelievablly beautiful and dramatic and this house was an incredible find. It was really well equipped, easy to find, and instructions and communications from the hosts Maggie and Seumas were friendly and clear. A welcome basket of treats was fantastic. We hope to be back before too long!

We had an amazing time at Irene & Ian’s hut. Irene really goes above & beyond in providing absolutely everything you could need & more! From local recommendations to homemade shortbread - she even got us a wedding card & celebratory prosecco. Of is such a lovely spot to be located in Skye, perfect distance from all the sights and hidden gems. 1000% recommend to anyone to stay - we can’t wait to come back!

Absolute stunner of a view, comfortable and cozy! #9 isn’t the most clearly marked at first, I wound up parking in the center before backing up a bit and finding the small sign pointing the way around the building. Renting a steading does not guarantee access to the on premises restaurant, this is honestly a shame and the only thing I found to be a negative, given the price I’d have hoped to have a reservation included (even if the dinner itself wasn’t). Unfortunately the restaurant was booked solid during my stay so I wound up bringing food to cook or heading out to eat elsewhere. #9 isn’t ADA/Handicap accessible as you have to climb uneven original stone steps. That’s no knock on the host or the space ofc! Just an FYI!! I’d ABSOLUTELY be back again to getaway from it all and enjoy the natural splendor. Thanks for the great stay!!

Had everything I needed and more! I had a great stay in this wonderful chalet, the whole place was so well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the chalet is stunning- it was a pleasure to live here for a week!
