Now, i dont write many reviews. And when i pay for a place to stay in my hometown it always irks me. But Danny's place was different. In a neighbourhood i know well, 15 mins walk from town and 5 minutes from my brothers house, it was perfect. The house was huge, so much bigger than expected, nice and clean but extremely cosy, comfortable sofas and beds, a lovely massive stone floor kitchen, a nice garden, and loads of board games and toys for the kids to play with. I understand that Danny probably gets loads of hikers etc through the place and the maps etc are great for thouse looking for that sort of thing, but for a family just wanting a place to chill while visiting family, my home. It was perfect. Thanks mate

We had a lovely few days stay at Zoe's beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed, parking on the road or in the car park just a stones throw away, was in easy walking distance to the town centre, lovely riverside walks nearby, great pubs and a great base to explore the surrounding areas.

An unforgettable stay for a special occasion! We booked this house for my sisters 40th Birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint! About a 20-minute drive from Cardiff which was convenient when venturing out for food and drinks (I would advise pre booking travel as we got stung on return taxis) The check-in was very friendly and informative. The host made sure we had all the details we needed, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was just as described in the listing with plenty of space and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. Everything you could need was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The place had all the essentials, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making sure everything was available. Great base location right at the heart of the Brecons. While no on site parking, the main village car park is a short walk away. Cottage is very cosy and suits all seasons. Beautifully presented with lots of great touches and very pet friendly. Lovely welcome gifts as well.

The stay was great, there were plenty of extras that werent expected like milk in the fridge and cereals to help ourselves to. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Great offroad parking too. Would recommend.

Great location for exploring beautiful mid Wales. Pool table and hot tub great additions. Layout of tall, narrow property takes some getting used to but actually works very well — everyone either in pool/dining room or living room or hot tub, so options for a large group. We were 12-13 people and that was roomy. NB I skipped this property in my initial search because it’s very odd to photograph the living spaces with people in them!!

We loved our stay at the owlet. It is the most relaxing place, we loved going out on the paddle board and kayak and our boys enjoyed running around in the grass outside the dome. The space ourself was bigger than we expected and kitted out with everything you need. Sarah was super helpful and friendly. We'd recommend to anyone! Only downside is it's so booked up :) we hope to return next year.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The highlight of the property was definitely the luxurious jacuzzi and the private swimming pool—both were incredibly clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing any time of day. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

If you’re considering staying here just book it, trust me! I’ve stayed in lots of Airbnbs and this one tops the list - really absolutely magical. The sauna & pond experience + hot tub + views + sweet & unique cabin; it’s really a special experience. Nick was fantastic; communication was perfect, really everything far above and beyond expectations.

We absolutely loved our stay at Abbey Dore. The house was spacious, brilliant kitchen and dining room area with two lovely living rooms. It had everything we needed, and we absolutely loved the swimming pool and gym. Bedrooms were lovely and beds were comfy. Emma and Daniel were so responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful surroundings, Gwatkin Red Cow was a brilliant recommendation- the roast was fab! We loved our stay and would absolutely consider coming back again.

Lovely little cabin perfect for us, easy 20 minute drive to the beach. lovely fresh towels the pool was amazing. Garden totally enclosed which was ideal for our doggies. Thanks again Emma we will be back

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

I highly recommend this caravan holiday home, It came with lots of extras that we didn’t expect like Wi-Fi and coffee making machine, Beds were extremely comfortable and the caravan was very spacious, it came a large Tv with access to the local mast so not full freeview coverage, There was a dvd player and a selection of dvds and there appeared to be an Amazon firestick giving extra choice if you wanted, overall and excellent caravan with lots of extras and a friendly and helpful owner for which I give a 10 out of 10 Rating.

Really enjoyed our stay. Derek was a great host, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable on the area with great recommendations. Welcomes with home grown tomatoes and eggs which were delicious. Thank you for having us.

Mike was an excellent host from the get go. Easy instructions, great place but what made this stay stand out was how helpful and friendly Mike is. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb for anyone who wants a cosy, comfortable place to stay while visiting the beautiful surroundings of this area

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bungalow! The property features a spacious, open-plan layout with large windows, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. The garden is a real highlight, wrapping around the entire house, and is secure, which gave us peace of mind with our dogs. However, it’s worth noting that the fence isn’t particularly high, so more determined dogs could potentially jump over it. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely, large shower. Our only suggestion would be to assess the kitchen equipment—specifically, the knives, as they weren’t very sharp. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and the property is perfectly located for exploring the stunning Forest of Dean. Highly recommend!

This place was just gorgeous. The field was so peaceful and beautiful, the fire pit was lovely and the cabin was so cosy. There were lots of lovely little touches and the bed was so comfy. There was plenty of wood to use and useful items like salt and milk. Great kitchen for cooking and our dog loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria.

The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.

A wonderful family home containing everything you need. It is comfortably and well furnished. The children's room was very welcome and well used by our children. The house is very well placed and the parking area was extremely useful. It is a great base for exploring Swansea and the surrounding area with pretty beaches very close by. The Mumbles is well served with shops and restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the house. We had 6 fabulous nights and would definitely return again. This property stood out for us when we were searching for a long weekend stay in south Wales. And it delivered! A beautiful two bedrooms cottage that was just as described with lovely furnishing and all the amenities anyone would require. This cottage has everything! We just wished we had booked for longer, as it was a great base to travel to so many attractions. We just didn’t have enough time. Buster the dog became a bit of a star out and about with lots of people wanting to say hello and ask about him. It’s safe to say he had a fantastic time too! Many thanks to Adrian and Ruth for sharing this lovely little gem with us.

We had a lovely 2 night stay with rob & Jen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rob and Jen were amazing hosts and such nice people. Thank you so much for the little basket of goodies, Very thoughtful. Cottage was immaculate, beautiful garden and surroundings. (.the bed is the comfiest bed we have ever slept in). The kids loved the games and teddy the dog loved his little treats. Local pub served lovely food and very friendly. The kids loved the rescue animals too. Rob recommended lots to do within a short drive. We've already been looking at available dates to come back! Thank you again
