Neil's place is magical and a perfectplace to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our family. The whole home is so well kept, from the beautiful gardens to the treasures and novalties throughout the house. It was homely and artistic at the same time, which was amazing. They obviously take great pride in hosting and everything was thought of from plenty of the basics to the little things like umbrellas, fluffy cushions, books, cds, bath robes, all the way down to a hand juicer for our lemons. The kids loved the kayaks and we loved the peace and quiet. You couldn't ask for more and we will definitely book again. Thank you so much!

Norie was the most lovely host we had ever met in all of our air bnb stays. She was very kind and made our stay really special. Her place is so unique, cosy, comfortable, homely, peaceful with the most stunning views. We stayed for just one night during our epic 70km cycle on the BVRT. It was the best place to rest our tired legs. Our daughter had the best time feeding the farm animals and picking fruit. After a wonderful sleep in - enjoying the comfy beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cabin, there was fresh bread, farm eggs, cereals & jams for breakfast. Everything was considered for a wonderful stay. What was meant to be a quick overnight stop , turned out to be the most memorable part of the trip. What a rare find! The apartment overlooked Newport Marina. The 699 bus ran in both directions to Kippa-Ring and Redcliffe train stations. The bus stops were only 1 minute walk from the apartment. There is a local convenience store and bakery next to one of the bus stops. Fantastic value for money. A small, very private, and extremely quiet spot. The sea front and restaurants could easily be reached. Tamara is an excellent host: her precise instructions were entirely exact. She replied to emails on very prompt fashion. I cannot recommend this property enough. If in the area, I will certainly return.

Our stay at this tiny home on the Brisbane River was nothing short of magical. Waking up to breathtaking river views, surrounded by nature, felt like a dream. The space was beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything we needed, making it incredibly comfortable. We spent our time kayaking on the calm waters, enjoying the fire pit and BBQ in the evenings, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Every moment felt special, and we truly didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect escape, and we can’t wait to return!

Peaceful and quiet, just what we were after. Locals are all happy, chatty and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit or maybe even longer, and definitely bring some bug spray for the sand flies. Clean tidy and up to expectations

Kylie was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked until we checked out! The house is a perfect home for a family getaway and she was very accommodating to changes as they occurred. We had a lovely time there and would recommend it to anyone interested in a getaway!

Sheryl and John were warm and accommodating. While I would have loved far more time on island and in conversation with them, they gave me space to enjoy the peace and quiet in their granny flat, the hot tub, exploring the island, and, in particular, kayaking in hopes of spotting turtles and dugongs!

We had a fantastic time Jacqui was very helpful with everything. Unfortunately we had to leave early and Jacqui was very accommodating with us leaving early. We will be back thanks for letting us stay at your place.

This was our second time staying at Dugong Place and we loved it just as much as the first time! Easy to reach from the ferry terminal, easy check in, comfortable space, and stunning views. Thank you for having us again, I am sure we will be back!
